D. I read the novel and at first it didn’t seem like Lanzhan liked Wei all he did was tell Wei no, get away from me. Had I not watched the live action movie I wouldn’t notice that he liked Wei a lot but they were so young when they first met...Wei was 15 yrs old and LanZhan was 16 so at that age you really don’t know how to process feelings. Then when they meet again in that cave LanZhan is 18 and Wei is 17 but still young and when they met again during the arrow game and when Wei went demon on them he was around 20 or 22 and in the novel he comes back 13 years later that makes him between 33-35 years old so if you look at their ages you can tell the way they acted was age appropriate. But again I couldn’t tell at all from reading the novel when Wei was going to classes at Cloud Recesses that Lanzhan liked Wei but Wei had a huge Crush on Lanzhan but because he was so young he didn’t realize those feelings were romantic. Wei only knew that he liked looking at pretty girls he didn’t realize that he was flirting with a LanZhan and who can blame him. LanZhan looked like he walked right out of Heaven and Wei had a smile and eyes that will turn any straight man gay.

@@dee625 it's called The Untamed, you can find the whole thing on RU-vid! It's also on Netflix, which I recommend if you have it because it has slightly better subtitles I feel? The whole thing is 50 40-minute episodes long, I finished it in 2 and a half days but I don't necessarily recommend that, it is intense. It's based on a web novel called Mo Dao Zu Shi, you can find an English translation by Exiled Rebels Scantalations online, and you can also find the animated adaptation (by the same name) on RU-vid! I recommend watching the drama first if you're going to read the novel, the names can be seriously confusing and the main themes are actually conveyed better in the drama I feel. And then, of course, read the novel once you're used to the characters and story, it's also really good and it has an extra large helping of the Gay! It has seriously taken over my life, although in the current state of the world that's a good thing since it's given me something to do over the past few weeks.
