Dude your vibe is literally her target demographic lmao. You should try and react to more tracks from this album, Honeymoon. A good chunk of the songs on it have that psychedelic, dreamy, ethereal, haunting and orchestral production going on. I can’t think of another artist that was doing this back when this album released its truly a masterpiece.
this song basically describes a man like Gatsby. Art Deco refers to a particular style characteristic of the 20s but in this case, it evokes the type of man he is, someone who chases the American dream, lavishness and allure. It's a description of character and style.
@@anthonyapgz4936 this has never been confirmed. As a literature major who knows that lana is a writer first, it is somewhat obscure that she would choose to describe a female as gun-metal cold and unsure. it also suggests it's about a guy she is involved with because he's crazy and puts his life on the line. She also repeats "you and me". I don't think this song is about a woman or AB by any means. The language is off but it also wouldn't;t fit the theme of the album which is mainly about the honeymoon phase of a relationship.
@@ryanmalarik4398 I can't really argue with that either, and Heroin is my favorite off LFL, incredibly dreamy. I went with 13 Beaches because not only is it dreamty but it also has those weird noises in the background that almost sound like alien spaceships or something. Or at least that's what it sounds like in my head 😂
obviously you don'tt have to react to this, but listen to Freak and then Art Deco, there's a transition between the two songs on the album, the intrument with which Freak ends, are the instruments with which Art Deco starts. Art deco is one of my favorite lana songs on honeymoon personally.
I think if you listen to some Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughn you can see what she means when she refers to Terrence Loves You as jazzy . Btw you shoul react to her cover "Summertime - The Gerwish Version" if you wanna hear a nice jazzy Lana moment👀 it got an official video and all. Anyway great reaction as always, I love this song, Honeymoon is my favourite album! 💙 I love that you appreciate all the aspects of the songs like the elements of the production and that you're enjoying all the tracks you pick from this album! 👐 And she had a beef with Azealia Banks , more from Banks side....they used to be kinda friend in the early days, fell off, Azealia always talk shit about her, last time Lana ended her on Twitter and it became an iconic moment haha
You're one of the best lana reactors on RU-vid! You should do "jump" and "kill kill" from her lizzy grant album. If you wanna hear one of her most experimental songs, it's "mermaid motel" from the lizzy grant album You should also check out "Thunder" and "Living Legend" from Blue Banisters, "Wild at Heart" from chemtrails, and "God Knows I Tried" from honeymoon, "13 beaches" from lust for life
There are so few reviews of anything from her lizzy grant album on RU-vid, it would be sick if you did a couple from that album. Jump, Oh Say Can You See, Mermaid Motel, Kill Kill... it's an amazing album and pretty experimental
Can u do full album reactions ? A lot of the songs make more sense listening to the album they come from in full. Also at this point since you’ve reacted to a lot of Lana songs, it would make sense to do full album reactions.
Did you notice that at end of every sentence… she drawn out the note like ….. “nightttttt…… wilddddddd…… alrighttttt…lightttttt…” so good. Amazing song
