There’s an old interview somewhere, and Lana mentions that during this time she was writing songs to hopefully sell to pop artists. She did that with Cheryl Cole (Cheryl did a version of Ghetto Baby)
Funfact this is Ridin' demo, the producer of this song produced both of Ridin' and Ice Cream, she wanted it to have a more hiphop but ended up this bubbly pop song, which was the thing she wanted but scrapped so they could make ridin'
Technically ridin is really Icecream. This song came first and when they scrapped it bc it was too "pop" for Lana's liking, it got reworked into Ridin.
