Lana is the only artist I know that makes me feel nostalgic about things I've never experienced. I have always said I have an old soul, and something about her music speaks to me in ways in which I can't explain. I feel like I've been through the old times, and Lana almost feels like a soul sister, a best friend I never had. It's difficult to articulate.

I first heard Lana Del Rey on an 8 hour all state choir bus heading to Las Vegas when one of the other members started playing her. Her music seems to be really distant and almost mysterious yet quiet(probably helped by the fact that I can never understand what she's saying) so now when I think of the empty deserts of southern Nevada, I think of her music, and when I think of her music, I think of the trip.

She makes me feel like I'm part of something much much bigger than life itself, I love you Lana

The feeling of being unstoppable and immortal but to also feel that at every turn it feels like the whole world is crashing on you. However, you realize it's not and you figure out how strong you are for overcoming your worries and doubts. She discusses and acknowledges the struggles and simple beauties of being young while subtlety hinting at how our generation has the power to shape the future. We all know Lana is interested in "intergalactic" possibilities of the future. This song seems to hint at that. Her best lyrics to date. I love Lana so much.

Whenever she tries something new in her music I try to appreciate it and even if I don't like it at first, I always get to love it in the end... I stopped listening to new music a couple of years ago (I'm 22 but I feel old lol). But Lana's new songs are the exceptions. I always download them once they come out. I love Lana's honest and brave soul. I love how she's not effected by any trend today and she's not even effected by her fans' criticism. I believe that's what makes a true great artist...
