I`ve always thought the scar suits The Evil Queen`s character really well. Although I`ve never thought about it as a scar... Weird. Just something which makes Lana unique. To me it seems it becomes more visible every time Regina`s angry, but normally I don`t even notice.
I sat and listen to this woman for 10 minutes and loved every bit of this. I think I love this love this woman. I would love to hang out with her for a day. ^-^
I read everything and anything lately about Lana. This video is amazing . Lana is for me, a really really talented actress, she's adorable with her fans. and she's funny and she has that sexy lough and smile and i don't wanna forgot her voice is good in evil queen and regina it's just amazing . It would be cool if they integrated the scar into the show like they did for Indiana Jones (Last Crusade). Definitely adds a dimension to any character she portrays. Heck, I first thought it was makeup effects anyways.
The first time I started watching Once Upon A Time I hated Regina so much!! But once i saw her story and how and why she became evil I just love her so much!!!!!! Aaahh I wanna meet Lana!!
Lene Jeanette Taralrud She is amazing. I doubt the show could be so fantastic without her. She makes it. They could kill off Emma Swan, and Lana could do the heavy lifting as an actress and continue to make it work. She is the anchor character that makes the series work. Disclosure: Emma (and I honestly, forthrightly have always detested Jennifer Morrison,why they picked her out of a million more talented people I will never know) In any case, Regina/Lana holds it all together.
if anything that scar makes her look SEXIER. Lana wouldn't be Lana without it. I fancy the show making a little story to justify her scar though. Like what they did on Xena about Lucy Lawless' scar. That was a brilliant move.

I love her honesty. As for her scar, it makes her even more beautiful, because she's an original. Any woman can be pretty, have a mole, etc, but none that I know of can say they also have a scar above their lip. She's original and I love her. Great actress, great communicator. She's just a great actress and seems like a sweet person too! I can't think of anyone more qualified for the part of Regina and The Evil Queen! Episode 18 is certainly my favourite...we really got to see what Regina is made of! Love Lana period! Thanks for sharing this great interview!
They HAVE to let her play Ursula when they do the little mermaid story. So great to hear the cast is close. And with OUAT you can tell it's not just press talk. The way the cast interacts, how they support each other - it's a great ensemble! I don't care about the old Sheriff anymore. They have so many other new and much more interesting characters now. Not only is she gorgeous, talented and a total pro, but she's too damn adorable! :) Anyway, I also felt that the justification in Stable Boy for Regina's hate for Snow was quite weak. It was poorly scripted, but Lana acted it out so brilliantly you could practically feel a switch turn and the Evil Queen being born. Hand her an Emmy already! :D
OOOOhhhh, her NY accent is HAWT, as is the scar. I have a thing for women with strong facial features, so i don't think i'd even be as interested if she didn't have it.
I understand my dog bit my upper lip by accident and it left me with a scar it's not noticeable because the doctor at the hospital did s great job with the upper lip and down lip stitching but during that process it was painful even to eat
I have a scar on my lip too, also from a cat. It jumped down from the top bunkbed and landed on my face. Much more of a boring story than a dog attack.
She‘s still beautiful! Nothing would change if she didn’t have this scar! She‘s a wonderful, amazing woman to me, I don‘t care about things like that. It doesn’t matte to me, if she‘s ok with it. Yeah, just happy to hear that she‘ve made peace with it ♥️☺️
i actually love Regina! She deserves to be happy in her life, she has so much goodness in her heart and it saddens me every time i see her cry. Oh my god i'm in love with a fictional evil queen
In the first season I hated that I actually loved her even though she was such a (you know what) I kept going back and forth on how I felt about her ,every time she did something I would run to my friend and vent how frustrated she made me I loved her but I hated her
I made a mistake when I wrote this comment. I thought (in the show) she got it when Snow cut her face with the fake excalibur in season 3. However, She cut her cheek, so it doesn't count.
I love this show; I'm on my 4th viewing of all 5 seasons. All of the actors are allowed to look very real; when they cry, you see red eyes and noses, angry faces look real, as do every emotion possible. I think the show must have a large budget for leather and eye make-up! I also think that nearly every actor has said, "Trust me," and "I promise." Every episode also has people being thrown backwards or across a room by magic, or falling over a rock or stump in the forest. I love all of the accents!
It's very strange watching the show then watching interviews. She's just so evil and heartless on the show, and in interviews she is so perfect. I met her on Sunday at a convention and she is the sweetest, most gracious person I have ever met. I think that is what makes Regina such an interesting character, because Lana is such a great actress and she is so kind, but she has the ability to play an awful person perfectly.
Since we know Regina also has the same scar and tattoo that Lana has (the black feather on her wrist, which is visible in the Maleficent vs. Regina scene in the second episode of the first season), my head canon is that she got the scar from Cora and the tattoo after she became the Evil Queen in the same-titled episode of the second season.
Daniel reincarnated as Emma would be the most wonderful, the most gorgeously just idea imaginable. Emma and Regina share a son they love desperately, and the spark of love between them is undeniable.
I had a hard time with her reasoning for hating snow as well, and the only thing I could come up with was that she thought it was on purpose(as Lana said here).

when she started saying she had a cat on her lap i almost freaked out cause i have a scar in almost the same place she has it and my story starts with a cat on my lap....i didn't save my cat it actually bit me but close enough ;D
She said four different roles, right? My english is not perfect, but I think she said it. Also I remember that in interview before Hat Trick, she said something about playing completely different role, different than Regina. Ofcourse it was the hag, but she's not completely different, she IS Regina. All of this gives me The Queen Of Hearts feels.
My hope is that Daniel was reincarnated as Emma. That Snow White wanted to fix what she did and asks for him to be reincarnated as her child. Than Emma can be Regina's true love and make everyone have a happy ever after... :D
we did no such thing to Xena. Robert Tapert himself said that the love between Xena and Gabrielle went beyond friendship and grew to romantic love. So is up to Adam and Eddy to where Reginas and Emmas relationship go. The fanbase efen if we would like to see Swan Queen happen cant force that.
No one did anything to Xena. Especially not a lesbian. If you had any real knowledge, you would know that Rob Tapert intended for them to be a couple, but the production company wouldn't have that. So it's actually the other way around. Straight people ruined a perfectly good idea for a show.
