Lana Wachowski on Sense8: The Series Finale 

At first I was bummed that there won't be a season 3, 4, and 5. But after seeing the finale, I'm not so bummed anymore. It ending is _close to perfect_ 💚🌈

We. Need. Season. 3.

Just finished watching the series finale and it was phenominal but also incredibly heartbreaking because that's it. There is no more. And as much as I was on a high when I finished watching it, I was also crying because I want more. I want to see these characters grow, and see what happens next in their lives. I want to know if one of them births a cluster. I want to watch their relationships grow with each other and with their significant others. And did Capheus ever win that election and help change his home for the better? As many questions as this series finale cleared up, there were more that came in to take there place. I guess that was going to happen though, since I'm so invested in these characters lives and want to know everything about them and watch them more. Shame this is ending. Truly one of the most beautiful and thought provoking and amazing shows to ever come on television. It's definantly going to put down as a cult classic. And those withstand the test of time. Thank you all for creating this masterpiece.

Best show ever. Loved the finale, for the most part, but I’m still grieving and hoping somehow they will reconsider and do a season 3.

This show is so magnificent and important and Netflix will regret cancelling it!! It's the ultimate story of love and acceptance and diversity and I have yet to stop crying after watching the finale. We need a season three! Lana is on board to write season three, and if she is still here for it, so should we! We've already done the impossible guys we can do this too! Petition, spread the word, don't be idle - the only way to make change is action! All my love to he cast and crew and to all you other fans - we deserve representation, and an honest and beautiful representation at that! Goddamn I love this show

I am watching this show all over again for the 3rd time. It is just amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Lana and all the cast for creating such a master piece. As humans we are all connected in such a magical way however the distractions in the world seperate and divide us. Lana Sense 8 reminds us all of this energetic and spiritual connection. I found the series finale very bittersweet. It was amazing, but you could tell that they had so much more story they wanted to tell and they won't get a chance to. Thank you cast and crew of Sense8 for an amazing ride.

I've never gotten so attached to any show before this. Sense8 isn't just a show, it's a piece of art, it's so real and so raw with emotion and humanity. I wish Netflix would really reconsider making Seasons 3-5 with 7-8 episodes per season on a slightly lower budget. Shows such as these, with so much depth and meaning, are hardly ever made. Sense8 is a gem! I will miss this amazing show so much!! :'(

I see this has been said...but I don't think it can be said enough. Thank you Lana, thank you cast...I watched the finale this morning and it was amazing. The whole show was amazing one the only shows that leaves me smiling episode after episode no matter how many times I watch it. Its like all my politics, beliefs, conversations and research (I am a professional social scientist focusing on discrimination) manifested in story and entertainment. Good Job...and Netflix in the slim chance you are reading these.....I understand it is an expensive show to run....but try to make it work for further seasons...if the cluster is together...then filming in so many locations shouldnt' be such and issue and the cost should come way down....?

The ending was crazy showing people are the same no matter sexuality, race or gender, the scene in Brazil, the wedding scene where all amazing another awesome trip on your mind, great movie from the Wachowski.

How about renewing a season 3 of this masterpiece nd cancel the rest of the lame shows on Netflix that noone really cares about.

The cast and crew deserved better than this. Yes it's high budget but who cares look at the amount of effort lana has put into it. I'm so sad she won't get to finish it how she imagined it with the five seasons she had planned.

Going to miss that series so much. Great finale, wish someone would pick up this series again and keep making shows. Incredible cast and crew, thank you, I'm so glad I've watched this series from the start.

My husband and i used the series finale for a (third!) rerun of the entire show... god, it's just SOOO GOOD!!! The finale itself was amazing, but only made us realize that we desperately need this masterpiece to keep going... there's still so much to explore! On a personal level, we especially enjoyed the turnout for Kala, Wolfie and Rajan. Thank you so much, Lilly, J. Michael and especially Lana - you've created and gifted us with something extremely special!!!

Sense8 does more than show that different is beautiful and valuable; Lana Wachowski sends the message that there's room at the table for everyone-- that new narratives and traditional ones can sit side by side-- strengthen, and compliment each other.

Best original show (best show, period.) I've seen in a LONG while. I wish they had been able to make it with a smaller budget so it could have carried on. they had a great Finale, but I could still go for MANY more seasons.

Absolutely cried as I watched the season finale. I tried to give myself a few days so I wouldn't be left high and dry by such a phenomenal series and wonderful cast, crew, writers, and storytellers. These are truly some of the most amazing artists that I have had the pleasure of understanding. I absolutely love everything about this fandom and this series and will truly miss it

Recently watched the series finale again. When they visited the Lacuna and met "Whispers' mother", I flashed for a second on "Whistler's Mother" the iconic American painting. Not the same of course, but the two "titles" sound the same, which made me chuckle.

I was late discovering this series but am so glad I did! I really hate it's cancellation and think that it was not just about money. I think that the potential of this show to persuade and assuage prejudice in others is too threatening to the "powers that be". What if Sense 8 could finally begin to get people to stop being afraid of difference? I think it could have, as all art can. I am sooooo disappointed there won't be more. Maybe there could be some movies picking up the story! Anyway, thank you all for your work and for a "different" look at how we could be with each other.

We need MORE! This is the ONLY show that represents the intersectionality of race, class, gender, sexuality, & disabilities. I just LOVE this show and would love to see it grow! This show makes my brain expanding every time I watch it.

It took me the entire timespan of the series to finally start watching. However, as a gay man with so much baggage from growing up that this show not only spoke volumes to my personal struggles, but had me in a complete deluge of tears through the whole thing. WOW, it really hit the nail on the head! I love it! I would absolutely love to see a season 3. I would love to see how they top what they've already done. I wanna see what happens to these people lives a period after the finale. How they developed and where they went. What their relationships became and if they withstood. I would love to see one of them give birth sense8wise. I wanna see if theres a way to turn the regular humans into sense's. That way their human companions or friends can be brought in. Like Bug. I love that character. I woulda loved to seen him invent a hacking apparatus that allowed a virtual sense(ability). Awesome thought right?

sense8 wasn't a TV show, it is an experience, that's why we need more seasons an experience should never end... an experience of love, support, acceptence #sense8 #renewsense8

I am glad about this finale but I want the franchise will continue... maybe in few years We would see another story of sensates with another cluster but cheaper and with less episodes or movie event per year.. for me the story of this cluster ended, all together, all happy, if I want another season with them could mean deaths, break ups and terrible storylines.. this cluster had an epic ending, I want to learn about another cluster

For all of this show's alleged diversity and inclusion, seems like all of that stops at age and body shape. Sure, we have people of all colors...as long as they are "hot." The alleged message of the show rings hollow when you realize that, at the end of the day, this is a Hollywood product, and they are being hypocrites by having every member of the "diverse" cast be "attractive."
