From the moment I first set foot in this area, I knew that it would forever remain one of my favorites that I've ever encountered in a video game. The Lanayru Sand Sea, while fun to sail around in and explore, is a very sad location, its once luscious waters ravaged by the passage of time. This song conveys the loss of life, in all of its forms, beautifully as Link roams the sea's desolate islands, and I attempted to do the track's melancholic, yet almost hopeful feeling justice with this cover.
