M U grad now living in Honolulu. Just one little addition about Hershey: Milton actually wanted his chocolate factory in Lancaster City but the people said “No way - do we want to be smelling all that chocolate in the air.” It’s true 😁 So he moved way out to the countryside later called Hershey😜. Hershey.... The great American Chocolate bar *made in Mexico now. Remember that pretzel factory on 340 that closed? That was there forever. Gone now. Is Wilbur still open...? I hear they didn't make it through covid. There is a whole list of bowling alleys that are gone now. 1 less roller rink too. There's less and less to do here all the time. If its fun and enjoyable they usually force it to close it at some point. If its still open, they just haven't gotten around to canceling it yet
@shellygardner6410 there is not one thing that you said here that is true except maybe the bowling alleys. The pretzel factory is still there, never closed. Was sold but still makes the same products. Same thing with Wilber, they are around the corner because the factory was too outdated to be a factory anymore but you can still get there in less than 3 minutes walking. They repurposed the original factory into a beautiful building with shops and apartments. The same thing happened in Hershey. The old original plant was too old so they repurposed it into their corporate offices. When they did this, they built the largest chocolate plant in the world that is now on the other side of Hershey Park and the Giant stadium. If you ever leave your house, drive down Hersheypark Drive Past the park and past the Giant center and look to your left, it's quite a sight. Spend less time complaining and more time actually knowing the facts.
Great question and an easy one to answer…nope! Loved the people and loved forecasting, but I love what I’m doing now so much more and it’s great to actually meet people and feel like I’m personally helping them instead of talking to a camera :)
He's talking so good about lancaster county Is it from lancaster city I could tell you no Hes leaving out all the homeless. All the drugs and all the shooting that's happening.😮
