Growing up in the 90s and being a teenage boy I was never a fan of the boybands, but, that said, I did have respect for there harmonics and work ethic, they were everywhere and at the top of the music industry and popularity. Hearing that they weren't getting paid for all of there hard work hurts and I really feel for the guys. I know it doesn't mean much coming from 1 random person but I am proud of what they achieved and in life respect is something earned not given or bought

I think it is unfair how they never got their money back for all those hard working years. I feel like they should have sued him. TLC also had a bad contract but they sued and they won the lawsuit, and also Toni Braxton.

Interested to watch this doc because I always remember, out of their own mouths, that Brian Littrell(BSB) was the one who discovered Lou was stealing from them. (Which he has said in multiple docs-VH1 behind the music and Show em what you're made of Doc)He went to Lou himself and begged him to make it right and when he didn't brian called his lawyer with the guys to get out of their contract. Effectively, the Backstreet Boys had to pay $20 million dollars to get Lou out of their lives. And they did it first and I remember Nsync right behind them suing as well.(I also remember something about them kinda whispering to Nsync like hey check your bank accounts-now this part could be me remembering it wrong bc I heard that 20 years ago when this stuff was going down.)

Lance seems like such a great guy! And smart too! Hope this documentary makes it to Netflix!

I saw the documentary and it seriously made me hate Lou Pearlman. Apparently he was borderline creepy with some of the boy band members he managed.

What a lovely man Lance seems, I wish him all the best.

Watched it last night. It really was a great doc. Kudos to everyone that participated. You thought they had it all, which in a sense they did, but they were all taken advantage of.

Im so glad he was able to find his Peace thru making the documentary. Its strange what gives you that Peace. There is a man that raped me every day from 4yrs til 12yrs and i always had dreams of him following me, calling my name, trying to find my children..... Until i saw him a few yrs back in a hospital bed and how disabled he is now. Then i knew all my fears were no longer possible for him to do. Ive had a sence of Peace ever since. No more nightmares. Drs have been saying he should have pased away since 2005 yet he is still here in pain everyday.

It was very informative and these men solidified themselves in music history they inherited and worked damn hard for these guys put in the work.

Shaquille O'Neal said in an interview that he could have signed *NSYNC because they recorded their first album at his house, as did the Backstreet Boys. He says he regrets not doing it especially since Perlman stole their money.

I don't have to see the documentary to already know Lou was a disgusting monster. He was so insecure with himself. The only way he could fill the void was with endless money, donuts and any victim necessary to reach his goal. If you want to be a musician, learn to write your own songs!!

I remember I was in High School when NSYNC hit it big. I wasn't into boy bands, but I also didn't have any hate for them. Anyway, all I can remember is their music being played constantly everywhere. To think that they weren't being paid is unreal... then again, it happened to the beatles

I watched the boy band con. Ruthless, day light robbery business, connected to multi millionaire (all on paper, nothing really owned). Lance put himself across very well but he had great support from his fantastic Mum. Where there is loss there is also gain. I mean these people are still telling the story and no doubt get paid for their interviews. Lou got his comeuppance in the end.
