He can do it. He’s just stuck in that mindset and has that style of “I don’t want to get hurt”. Once he gets past that, he’ll start landing lots of stuff.

To be completely honest, I feel like he lacks the athleticism and coordination that the younger guys have, he also looks really tall. All of that would make it more difficult to even get out of that "I don't want to get hurt" phase.

Just an FYI I'm 37. Jdm skates: that's sick!!! I agree, been trying several 3 stairs and i can't get the speed and timing quite right to clear yet. Jaime Ting: Awesome, i got my one stair and 2 stair, they are both posted up on my channel! The 2 stair in the video was more of a rocket rolloff because i was injured, but i can ollie a lot better now. Mindset is huge, I'll remember to get in the zone. Thanks!! Zach Ran: That's literally all it will take. I'll be sure to post the video.

Also thank you all a ton especially Lance. I turned 25 and decided to start skating again after not doing so for over 8 years and it is very discouraging at first for sure haha but when I found your channel it was a fresh dose of motivation right to my bloodstream. Skateboarding is such a wonderful thing and I am happier than I have been in years even though I am still getting back into the groove of things. Keep being awesome and thanks for the dope videos.

Rickadus ThirtyOne Ride in the streets more, less skateparks and more streets. Go through tough surfaces, roads, where there a lot of bumps, cracks, obstacles, etc. No bs I learned pretty quickly to use my board through that. You just need to teach yourself how to control it better.

Its like that at first, after awhile you will be so comfortable that skateboard feels like a part of your body. Even walking feels so awkward that u prefer to skate

I have been following this channel and the braille army channel for a few months already and i have to be honest that you guys make skateboarding look so fun and easy. I'm 40 years old. I quit skating around 23-24 and just started again. It's a lot harder this time around but I have fun and just wanted to say thanks for making these videos lance. It reminds me that skateboarding is and should always be about having fun even if you are not good.

I'm so proud of this man! If this isn't motivational to those that start skating late in life then I don't know what is! Lance couldn't even stand up on his board when he started in his late 20s and now his kick flip down a set is clean as hell and he doesn't clench his fist anymore which makes such a difference in his overall style! Im so stoked for you Lance!!! I started skating again like 4 or 5 months ago, seriously anyways. Up till then i still rode my cruiser sometimes but basically quit almost 14 years ago. I just turned 28 and it is really cool to see you progress along with myself, ive really noticed you and i think a lot a like when it comes to jumping off stuff and learning so your skate supports helped me improve by leaps and bounds. Really hope i can make it out that way someday in the near future and we can get some sessions together. I really look up to Aaron and the others but really you're my hero and you give me the motivation everyday to go out skate and reteach myself everything. Even though we're the same age i really look up to you and admire you. I really hope you see this man and congrats on kickflip down the 3 that's a huge accomplishment!

Ohh! I recently did my first kickflip down a bank, and I thought that was scary! Kickflip down a 3 stair, that is something I have never dared trying. I would be stoked to kickflip off a low ledge. :-P Way to go Lance!

Dude imo it's harder to kickflip into a bank due to the transition, you can do a 3 stair man!

Cool, I just got back from an evening sesh. I landed my first varial flip down a bank this evening, so right now the confidence is slightly boosted, and maybe (just maybe, lol) I could have used that confidense to dare to try a 3stair, but sadly "my" skatepark only has a five stair, and that is a bit to intimidating to begin with. But it has a good ledge that I will try kickflip off the next time I skate. Thanks for the encouragement man! :-)

magnus soderbom. Awesome !!! What do you mean with "down a bank" ? Into a bank? Dude.. that is harder than a kick flip down a five stair. And.. i have a great idea of what to do if your SKATEPARK has no 3 stair.. go to a 3 stair anywhere. LOL Do skate street. Skating in a skate park only makes it tough to progress
