Thank you. I have never driven evo1. I think the biggest difference is interior.

EVO 1 has the larger homologation turbo so it has a little more boost lag. It also has a different ECU and with the bigger turbo responds better when you add a chip. The both drive the same in the handling arena. The EVO 2 has the smaller turbo and a more advanced ECU so it may had better road manners. The EVO 1 tends to hunt for idle on start up as the ECU needs some time to prices the big turbo. I own sell both here in the US and I personally own and EVO 1 that I am keeping for a while. I dont mind the boost lag. Both are certainly fun and are among the best handling chassis I have ever driven and I have owned some pretty cool cars.

HF Integrale è il nome di fabbrica del modello, come le precedenti 16v, 8v e 4WD (Evo, Evoluzione o Deltona sono soprannomi). I fari lenticolari in Giappone non erano omologati, quindi per quel mercato venivano montati i fari della 16v, inoltre le frecce laterali erano più in basso ed il foro di quelle originali era chiuso da uno stemmino HF.

Anche le Evo 1 e 2 erano HF Integrale come le precedente 16v, 8v e 4WD. Quelle per il mercato giapponese avevano i fari della 16v perché i lenticolari non erano omologati in quel Paese inoltre le frecce laterali erano state spostate più in basso e il foro di quelle originali era chiuso dallo stemmino HF.
