The woman was really sweet and she actually took the time to educate you on your skin and their products. I just feel like the makeup was blah, like it wasn’t anything special
i think the point of this makeup was to show off the products and make something that an average person can also create using what they sell so yeah, it wasn't anything extraordinary, but i feel like that was the point
Yes exactly, a lot of "show" but the result is nothing special. She used just a few products and didn't put any effort. I'd never pay for something so simple. Of course Judy is always beautiful! I just don't understand why this pro mua don't experiment, while bad reviews mua are so creative and brave😂😂
I worked for Lancome for years, and did makeup on women daily. You would be so impressed with the quality and quantity of education that Lancome and other major companies give to their sales staff. Some of us are actually estheticians as well. Judy this was so nice to see you actually enjoying a makeover, as opposed to some the brutality you suffer under the hands and egos of so-called make up artists.
Really? After watching the hygienic atrocities made in this video I would never assume Lancome to give such high quality training. It’s the absolute minimum to know how cross contamination works when working in n the field and this video shows total lack of knowledge on the subject… Very disappointing, imo…
I went for a makeover like this at Lancôme years ago after I got my first real job out of college. You actually pay for the products they use on you. They are not used on anyone else. That’s why it’s so $$$$$ At least that’s how it was when I went but I don’t want to talk about exactly how long ago that was. 🫣
I love lancôme but i wasn't impressed whit applications of those products. She didn't use fondation and lancôme have amazing fondations! Also the eyeshadow looks muddy.
Was thinking the same thing, but back in the 80s we baked ourselves on metallic blankets while slathered in cooking oil. Sigh. I’m lucky I have good genes, but I wish we had known back then what would happen!!
I feel the same way, I didn’t grow up in the 90s but I’m a ginger with insanely pale skin, like so pale that the lightest shade for a majority of foundations are too dark for me. My parents never made me wear sunscreen and I didn’t fully understand the importance of it until I became an adult. My face has burned to a crisp quite a few times in my life, I’d like to think that since I started slathering myself in it by the time I was 21 it wouldn’t be that bad but idk lmao.
My mum was born in ‘65 and well, same as you, sunscreen wasn’t really a thing. Right now she’s had to use a radiation cream on basically her entire face for a month, which has caused intense scabbing from basically the skin cancer being burned off by the cream. It’s pretty intense and made me really realise I need to up my sunscreen game 😖
She is one heckuva saleswoman thats for sure! She would have had me purchasing every product! She did a great job accentuating Judy's natural beauty without overdoing it! Beautiful!
She lost me when she said she’s too young to used retinol…Also I don’t think she’s knowledgeable enough to know you DONT USE THE TESTERS STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE INTO PEOPLES FACED ESPECIALLY EYES. Big No No I hope she doesn’t get an eye infection I’ve seen people spitting on testers
As a former Lancôme artist, please trust me when I say that we are trained to never use the applicators from the product on clients. Ever. It's so unsanitary.
The whole time I was thinking, surely she'll go over Judy's cheek ... please cover it. 😳 Nope. WHAT?! How do you miss such a huge part of the face?! Also, lipstick from a tube?
…mascara & concealer as well I was 😱😳🤢 & there’s no way they would include all those products in such a simple makeover. The makeup part was crap you can see the push was towards skincare & mascara.
@@koharkin2555 Oh absolutely. For this to legitimately be "professional", I was APPALLED. This lady was so kind....but this make up look & hygiene was just as bad as the worst rated. 🫣🤦♀️
Same thing when they use eyeshadows palettes they use the same one on everybody, what is the problem with the lipstick from a tube? You are such a Karen
And can we also talk about the fact that the concealer oxidized? D: You can clearly see it on her cheek and chin. Oh my lord, what a desaster for a full make-up made by such a huge company, at least in my opinion.
My first time commenting because I've watched many of your videos and none have ended with such a beautiful result as this -even the Gucci vids weren't this good... This woman totally captured and capitalized YOUR very own natural beauty features without making anything fake on you. You look absolutely lovely on this result.. I would definitely stick to this look. Gorgeous.
Her makeup does truly look like an invisible second layer and brings out her natural beauty. The lip color is perfect for her skin tone and hair color!
You look super youthful, I mean, you are but usually makeup artists focus on making you look either too elegant and mature or (the bad ones) simply old and tired. This makeup gives you a natural look and radiance💖
No shade to the MUA or the makeup itself, but I have to say I’m appalled to see how Lancome has such low standards when it comes to hygiene. The eye serum applicator should never go back in the container after touching someone’s face, as with the foundation applicator or mascara wand! 🤢🤢🤢Unless they where brand new and you’re buying all those products (including all 3 foundation’s she swatched on your face) it should always be done with disposable applicators/wands, otherwise it’s a source of contamination. The makeup is pretty but it’s unbelievable how a brand I held so high has such poor standards… Edit: and the lipstick from the bullet!!! I can’t… 🤢
I work for the brand and I can 100% say that it’s on the MUA because we’re given spatulas and mascara wands to be hygienic- she just chose not to follow protocol 😫
(Professional Licensed working makeup artist) that was the first thing I noticed and I was absolutely appalled. Obv when it’s Judy going into the lions den we know what to or not expect for entertainment…. But this is Lancôme… I think maybe she got too distracted with the gadgets & her explanation… but HYGIENE IS #1 and always should be…
I dont think i necessarily agree with what she told you about retinol. Its never too early to be using Retinol. It helps with texture and pores, I wouldn't personally do everything a MUA would recommend about skincare. I'd leave it up to an actual dermatologist to be the judge. At the end of the day they have the knowledge the company gives them so they can promote and sell products.
I use retinol every now and then but every time I use it, my skin breaks out. Is this normal? Or am I just applying too much? And where exactly are u supposed to be applying it?
@@christinarutkosky1313 if you can, it would be great to visit a dermatologist. But, in general, you need to use the lowest percentage retinol available (0.025% as far as I know) and only put it on once a week, then twice and work your way up. Also, I never used it on my clean skin, as in, I cleansed, put on moisturiser, waited, then applied a pea size amount of tretinoin. SPF is mandatory. Purging is a common phenomenon with people that start using tret but honestly I feel like people go overboard with the amount and frequency from the get go and irritate their skins. But there's also the possibility some skin types don't like tret. That's why a dermatologist is your best bet
@@paradox9369 Thanks! That makes sense. It does seem like a lot of work lol. Bit I've been meaning to see an actual dermatologist. I break out still plus I have scars from previous breakouts ugh..
What a beautiful lady the Lancome MUA was inside and out, i loved that she wouldnt let you feel your insecurities put yourself down she came back with a complimenting answer of why we have those in our eyes in a good way!! Judy the make up looked beautiful on you, not put on like a MASK but just to extenuate your beauty ❤
She absolutely did a wonderful job completing your natural beauty. That mascara is on fire and the skin care machine is like something out of sci-fi. Thanks for sharing.
I love the subtle look of this makeup!!!!! Elegant and beautiful! It looks so natural and classy. Judy is gorgeous anyway but this just further enhances that.
I think sometimes shes not fair when she goes to fancy places, theres some things that we can say that are wrong and she just act like its all perfect bc it is an expensive brand
This is sad... I hoep she swiped off all the bacteria they put on her face. Zhe has to admit that only because the product is expensive does not mean that has to be applied in unhygienic way... 😮
Also.. Lancome should be known for their shimmer eyeshadows too, velvety feeling, even the darkest shades are so easy to blend and last all day. I can vouch for every shimmer in Lancome, the matte ones are a hit and miss.
Continue using the retinol, Judy. It's not bad at all for you. Your skin is already used to it. I am 46 years old. I wish that I had learned it at your age. It's a safe benefit. Adore you!
I love their skincare. I do feel like the concealer was a bit too dark for Judy looking at 15:14 where the centre of her face is orange n her jaw is light
Lots of empty words from her side. The concelear was patchy and uneven, the eyeshadow muddy, the mascara nothing special my 2$ doesn't do as well. And all product straight from the tube? Gross! I'm so disappointed in he makeup look and how they handle all this.
I hope these were new products that you got to keep at the end 😯 I mean we know your skin can survive anything but I am surprised Lancôme applied some of the products with the original applicator.
Please don’t stop using retinol! The earlier you start, the better. The longer you use it - the better effects you get and have. Please continue using it, if you were doing it already ❤
I've been using Lancôme since 1984, using their makeup, skin care and facial care products, their mascaras and the mascara primer is absolutely the best. So glad you were able to have this experience and thanks for sharing.
I can’t believe Lancôme representatives don’t know much about the hygiene. Touching the face with what comes into contact with the product in the jar is a big no no👀 come on
I had a consultation with Lancome last week for foundation, and the beauty advisor was brilliant. Followed every hygiene requirement and matched me perfectly!
There is a thumbnails for another video I don't know the name of it but I did put it in the comments which will probably never be seen but it looks like she's holding a man's penis to her mouth. I can't imagine she is okay with that thumbnail
I enjoyed learning so much about skincare and lashes! The make up was ok, like the base seemed patchy and a shade too dark. But the mascara and lip seem like awesome products for a no make up look.
Others seem not to like the makeup but I love it, it so natural for everyday. You had a few darker places but you could blend those out yourself. Compared to most sessions you come from this looking gorgeous and I would not wipe it off. The hygiene aspect was a bit iffy but we have seen a lot worse. You are always beautiful inside and out.
why do all those high end companies always do natural looks? It's not that hard to do a nice natural look. It'd be nicer if they did something more dramatic or colorful.
@@ayannahendricks6266 it's more difficult to achieve a dramatic look without looking like a clown. A natural look we all do ourselves. But that's just my opinion.
you look so good . I am so happy to see you also happy with the make up and your look. The women at Lancôme were so sweet. What a difference from the witches that sometimes do your make up. These ladies were so professional and kind.
What I’ve always had in my mind as a MUA is that when you get disposable mascara wands -the ones that were not used here, the mascara will never perform the same as intended because you lose the properties the different wands that come with each product. That’s why a lot of models carry their own mascara, it’s literally the only way you’ll get the best results without compromising the look or risking eye health.
It's actually recommended to start using retinol in our mid 20s, so keep using it!! Just make sure to use it only part of your night routine and put SPF in the morning!
i noticed a few things. she said the mascara would give you more volume, but the image said "0% more volume" lol. and she also said to start with toner but then didn't put toner on your face
I have watched many of your videos and each time, I was thinking, "she's one of that rare species that looks more beautiful without makeup ". But this is the first time I really like the look, makes you look effortlessly pretty. I'm glad she told you she didnt want to change anything. It's really the right makeup style for you, imho
it feels like she didn't paint a piece of skin on her cheek and it remained darker than the rest of the face. And is it also normal that she doesn't use brushes to apply makeup? who else did she put this lipstick on? ewwww
You two give me the same vibe, son de sangre ligera (light blooded people) ❤ It's a good thing, it means it feel easy to talk to you and aproche you because your a nice person! Cuando vengas a Tijuana déjame maquillarte 😂 💋
I've used Light Pearl and it's AMAZING! I love it so much cause I feel it helped with my dark and prominent eye bags 😊 (Also it hydrates so well so concealers don't look cakey in your undereye)
I'm such a huge fan of Lancome skincare and makeup, so, I really enjoyed this video, and even learn some things about the products and the right use for them
Thanx to you I started using my essence for face mor often and It was life changer for me 😊. Now most serums , mask and creams absorb easly. Thank you Judy!
