Decided to have a flick down at an urban creek in cairns city and resulted in an industrial behemoth of a mangrove jack 😉
Gear~~~
Rod - Daiwa td hyper v2 3-7kg
Reel - Daiwa excellor lt 2500D
Braid - 15lb j-braid grand 8 strand
Leader - 20lb sun line fc rock
Lures - 4 inch diesel minnows + 3.5 inch zerek flat shad

I’ve got a Bung knee and just got out of a surgery so it’s a bit of a struggle to get down to the waters edge. Plus I have to thrown them in a this spot because it’s a croc zone.

Thanks mate, I reckon fishing at the end of a high tide when the water starts to run-out, or fishing at the end of a run-out when the water transitions to coming in is the go 👍
