Spent the weekend out at Land Between the Lakes in western Kentucky. This is one of the first dispersed camp sites Off the Beaten Path Adventures went to before I had a channel. Great site on lake Barkley, very quiet and peaceful. hunted LBL, archery, many years ago. tent camped here. Thank goodness has not changed much,road looks better than I rember

There are many great spots that you can get to pretty easily but there are some areas still that aren’t so easy to get to but if you can get to them there breath taking.

I am looking for a place to camp for three or four days in October. I have never been to LBL. How do I go about finding a spot like this? I have a Jeep wrangler with a roof top tent.

@@danchapin7987 I use the Gaia app. I go through the maps and follow the roads that lead directly to the water. I have some spots pinned on Gaia that I can send you.

@@jailbaitandtackleoutdoors good to know thanks. I’ll be in Florida the week of thanksgiving, I’m riding my adventure motorcycle from here in Kentucky to Key West. Taking the east coast down. I’ll also be at the South East Vehicle Expo in 2025 that’s in Starke Fl. I think it’s end of Feb first of March.
