Land Between the Lakes - Wranglers Campground

We left Hot Spring National Park and headed to Land between the Lakes for a couple days of exploring. The whole area between Hot Springs and LBL had experienced heavy rains the previous couple days and now the cold was settling back in. We were happy to discover Wranglers Campground where we could run our electric heater and have a nice hot shower!
Tomorrow we will head out to do some overlanding and exploring.

I don't think we really realized just how big it was before going there. We were wishing we had done more research! There were several areas we wanted to check out and just ran out of time. Luckily it's within a day's drive so we're hoping to get back there soon.

Dang! We didn't know that, lol! Tim get mistaken for a sasquatch sometimes- could be a relative, haha! There are plenty of hiding spots for one there. We're hoping to go back later this year. It really has something for everyone.

Every awning will get wet even when stowed away

This is our first awning and we love having it. It has a rubberized cover just like our rooftop tent so we weren't expecting it to be so wet. Wouldn't mildew be a problem? We're learning, lol!

It's been a good journey. Good thing you could find an adult beverage for sale. Blue laws still abound. I camped in Burkesville KY years ago and was told the closest adult beverage store was down in TN. Good to see how Hot Springs was doing. Is your camping routine settled in now?

It used to be illegal to buy beer on Sunday here in IN but they changed that a few years back. I wonder how many states still have some sort of ban. I think we are settling in. It feels like it's getting easier at least lol!
