Land Clearing: Mahindra 1626 : DIY | Part 5
I have several trees that I have taken down in the last few weeks with my Uncle. Since the weather is nice we took out my Mahindra #mahindra 1626 and attached the grapple and brush cutter to start clearing more of the bottom property.

I would seriously consider chemically treating those vine roots to kill them. They are going to grow back. The same for those beech trees - they will root sprout when cut and grow well in low light but, will choke out other species like oaks.

NH Mountains, thank you we have noticed the beach and gum trees come back and out grow everything else.. I will look into the chemicals I’m not a huge fan of it because I don’t want to kill anything else. Im in alittle but if a hurry because I want to get the Apple, chestnut, sawtooth oak, planted before the spring..

Good job. The only thing I’d recommend is always wear your protective gear- helmet and chaps. It only takes a split second to have an accident. Even in the easy stuff. I’d even recommend on the tractor for hearing and eye protection from twigs.

I have a small cut in my chaps that I have no idea when or how it got there. It can happen.

@@nhmountains5683 yea you are right, it all happens fast.. When I was a teenager I was helping out at a friends house clean up the yard and his dad cut it face from his eyebrow to his chin with his chainsaw!!!
