Land clearing with a tractor may be the best way to DIY clearing land. Tractor, Stump Grinder, Grapple, Wood Chipper, & Mini Clip Tree Shear! It has taken us a while to get the tools together, but after pricing the work done by a professional, it is overwhelmingly less expensive to buy this equipment to complete the work ourselves. The bonus is we get to keep the equipment after the job is done, allowing us to maintain our property with minimum labor. We have two tractors which make the job go even faster, but I could do this with either tractor. It takes a little longer to switch out implements with one tractor, but even that would not be bad. @TYM Tractors @Precision Manufacturing Inc @Titan Attachments

Nothing like having a good collection of equipment and tools to help clear land. I just cleared about 5 acres acres with a JD 3025 & grapple, bush cutter, Stihl chainsaw, and an Echo string trimmer with a 7” rip saw blade on it. I need to get a stump grinder like yours. Thanks Tony.

The stump grinder is the final part of my wood clearing operation. We are clearing 8 acres, and we are putting trails through the rest. We will use these tools to maintain the property until I can't.

❤️❤️❤️You give me hope with my family’s Century property. We’ve been battling all things thorny for 18 years by hand; chainsaws, various loppers, pole saws, until 2 weeks ago when we got a tractor with several attachments. Now we are hearing Deff may not be easily available in the near future. Can’t run our tractor without it and since it doesn’t have a long shelf life, can’t stock up. 😩I used to get overwhelmed until I learned to look at it like a puzzle; 1 piece at a time. Happy clearing!

The land will go crazy fast. This land was cut about 20 years ago, and land management was not on their mind. It has grown up with all kinds of invasive tree species. We are clearing out all of the invasive stuff and giving the native stuff a chance to grow. Most of our land will still be in forest, but with the right kinds of trees. Red Maple use to be common here, but now they are rare. We planted a few around.

Nice equipment setup you have there. Suggestion: Leave post trees in the grapple at a comfortable height over your scrap wood area and cut the ends off. No reason to drop the log on the ground, strain your back stooping to do the cuts, pick the post up again, go stack it, go back and pick up the cutoffs then go drop them. Takes a lot less time that way...plus no chance of your chain kissing the dirt. Don't ask me how I know! LOL

Thank you. It is a Timber Wolf 59cc. It has been a great saw, but it struggles with the 24" bar. I recently bought a new 92cc chainsaw with a 36 bar for the big stuff. The Echo Timber Wolf will still be my go to chainsaw, but I have some 34+ trees to deal with in the near future.

Hey friend, ever heard of a forestry mulcher???
@TonysTractorAdventure
@TonysTractorAdventure Год назад
Sure. I just got one for my tractor. If you are talking about a skid steer mulcher, then I would need to borrow about $25k to $40k for the mulcher. I would need to borrow $80k to $120k for the skid steer. Please send check to the address below. 😁

@@TonysTractorAdventure Dont buy them, Try to rent them instead... Some day all those machines will be electrical and you can sit back in your truck and operate them just like a drone...

You guys should have waited until fall 🍂 giving the nesting birds time to wean their chicks. Anyway, nice video.

Thank you for your comment. I am assuming you own land. If you let your yard grow up with underbrush, it will give the nesting birds a place to wean their chicks.

Over exaggerate much? You can get a tractor and needed used equipment for less than $30K. I worked extra hours to get my equipment. If you want it, go get it! 😇

That's right! My wife changes her mind 6 to 7 times per tree whether we're going to keep it or not. It is comical sometimes.

Pigs and goats are work all by themselves. The pigs tear everything up while you find the goad standing on the hood of your tractor. I grew up on a farm. No thank you.

You are speaking out of ignorance. I went into the Army with $5 to my name. I raised a family, had a night job, and went to college, became an Army Warrant Officer, all at the same time. If you want new equipment, go get it. Still, you can do everything I did with used equipment for under $15k. Bonus, you keep the equipment for other jobs. I didn't get all of this at one time. I made smart decisions by buying along the way. We bought the land almost 5 years ago. It took five years to get to this point. The destination is not important, the journey is! Plan for the future but enjoy the day.

@@TonysTractorAdventure sure sure. 15k for wood chippers, tree shears, grapples, stump grinders, and a tractor with third functions, rear remotes, and enough hp and hydraulic flow to run it all. But hey! Paint sure does look nice on all that "use" equipment! Lololol.
