Land clearing with a tractor may be the best way to DIY clearing land. Tractor, Stump Grinder, Grapple, Wood Chipper, & Mini Clip Tree Shear! It has taken us a while to get the tools together, but after pricing the work done by a professional, it is overwhelmingly less expensive to buy this equipment to complete the work ourselves. The bonus is we get to keep the equipment after the job is done, allowing us to maintain our property with minimum labor. We have two tractors which make the job go even faster, but I could do this with either tractor.
