This video is about my new 2004 Landcruiser 100 Series. Hope you guys enjoyed the video and Consider Liking and Subscribing. I will be going into more details on this rig as I modify and set it up for overlanding adventures.

Just picked up an 06 with 108k on it and definitely paid the price. Got it for 26k, but the condition is just like this in pristine condition. It was too hard to pass up with the low miles and 275 hp V8 that came in the 06 & 07 100 series and the service records were incredible. Congrats on the rig I love the lift and wheels on yours definitely giving me some ideas!!

Congrats on your new rig too! 26k does seem steep but with with only 108k on it, compared to the new ones I think it’s a bargain knowing how long they will last.

this is a beast of a car i am in love with this car i have driven in it slept in it as a kid on roadtrips, it’s great for family roadtrips and it’s comfy and trust me man this purchase was worth it.

It’s priceless when you loved it 👍 Great choice. I picked yesterday 2004 LX100 w/110K miles excellent bone stock condition from first owner $19k. Loved it

Any 100 in that condition with under 200k miles is worth that price. Especially with it being an ‘04 with the ome lift and wheel and tire setup, this was a steal. I got my ‘00 at 190k for around 10k and it wasn’t even close to being this clean and kitted out. Keep an eye on that radiator tho, if it’s starting to turn brown/green it’s bouta quit.

Great buy! We also got a 2004 recently, we paid more than you did but we had a few extras with the winch and bumper. We took it across the country about two months after we bought it, 7500 miles from Oregon to the east coast and back. The only issue we had was the front diff pinion seal went out on us. (in Texas, funnily enough) unfortunately I knew the t-case and diffs hadn’t been serviced with new oil, so I did that and I think that’s what ended up making the seal give out. But she drove across the country doing some off-roading along the way and I wouldn’t have wanted to be in any other vehicle.

Thanks and that’s awesome! I would love a bumper and winch setup. We took ours through New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado this summer and put about 5,000 miles on it. It was a beast!!

Sold my immaculate 55,000 mile one before covid in 2019 for £16,000 (UK). 100,000 mile plus okay condition ones are now changing hands for £20k+. D'oh! Loved driving that truck.

@@pickettbuilt2686 tell me about it! I'll get into another one one day, to be honest it was so mint that it became a garage queen. I was too scared to properly use it on trails so was a waste just sat in my garage. Best off getting one a bit more "used" if the plan is to overland it I think, clean and tidy but not "too nice" that you're scared to use it. For now I'll make do with my 47,000 mile WJ Overland, which is also mint but I'm not quite so precious about it, obviously, and use it as it should be used. The 100 series is still the nicest driving most quality feeling car I've ever owned though, and I've had my fair share. Enjoy!

@@benbirch2393 I know what you mean. I am not as scared to wheel with my 4Runner since it’s already got a few dents and scratches. Keep an eye out and I bet you’ will come across another nice one to jump on.

Thanks! Radiator looks good as well as the heater T’s. The fluid looks ok but I am going to do a flush and get some fresh Toyota red fluid in there anyways. Also going to order some new heater T’s to have as spares. Appreciate the tips.

I changed heater t’s that looked great, just wanted to tinker. I went to replace the old ones and they crumbled apart like Oreo cookies.

What brand and type are the Rims ? They look awesome 👌

Don’t know the exact specs but they are 18” granite alloy GA640s in dark metallic bronze.

There was one incident on carfacts and the driver door had some work done. Had my master mechanic go over it with me with a fine tooth comb. He approved! Still all matching panels. I am really impressed with the paint. Insurance gave me 15k for my Tacoma so I look at it like it was only a 2k upgrade. With the V8, It’s a beast and we now have something that can pull our camper.

@@pickettbuilt2686 try to look for 2006-2007 complete bone stock without AHC and Navigation system those are the hardest one to find people at IH8MUD consider those the “unicorn” you’ll never seen those low $25k

@@Atomex_edit I agree. Mine does not have AHC and I like that about it. I jumped on this one cause you could eat off the bottom of it, it was so clean. I know the 2006+ has more horsepower which would be nice. I think the older 100 series with rear lockers would be a score too.

I think some wood panels are after market kit. I don't think they had them in the vents.

Trump tax. LOL. Great rig and good price. Third row seating option all came with climate control on the ceiling. Headlights are glass, not plastic, so will look beautiful for decades. Probably original headlights. Woodgrain trim on the interior was an option, $500 on mine in 2000.

The headlights were replaced but yes they are glass. I am curious about removing the trim and seeing what it looks like without it. Maybe in an upcoming episode. So far I have been loving the rig! Thanks for Watching!

Not yet. Just threw everything back there as well as a Thule box on top for our 1st adventure. Definitely want to have an organized setup that keeps everything secure. I have tons of ideas on building a rear storage setup. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
