Took the TR3e off the pallet and started learning what I could get away with! Within 2 days I have gotten most of it figured out. Backing up to break up dirt piles with the back rake is cool and using the same rake with the fully extended top link (hydraulic) as a dirt grader blade to move more dirt farther has been a huge time saver. I am sure that there are other things that will present themselves on some of the other projects I am going to use the TR3e to do.

Is there a leveling blade for the Arena Rascal?

Hi Catherine! Great question! A floating leveling blade for the Arena Rascal Pro would be problematic because the Rascal line is a pull behind attachment. Any floating leveling feature wouldn't be as effective because the tool is already "floating" behind your ATV/UTV whereas the TR3 is fixed to a tractor's 3pt hitch system. That said, we've got two options that give you the ability to manually tackle high and lows in your arena: the electric actuator lift system and the Mini-box. The electric actuator lift system replaces the main square jack that raises and lowers your ARP. Once installed, you can control the depth of engagement on the fly while grooming. That means you can lower the Rascal as you come to a high spot and raise the Rascal once you've pulled material to a low point. It's not the same "automatic" leveling functionality as the floating leveling blade on a TR3, but it puts you in control from the driver's seat. The Rascal Mini-box is an option that affixes to the Arena Rascal Pro's finish rake and allows you to carry more material. This increases the effectiveness of the electric actuator system and helps you tackle the job faster. It even comes with a toothed blade so the finish is comparable to the beautiful corduroy look that is a signature for ABI Equine drags. Hope this helps! -- Matt

@@ABIAttachments Thanks so much for getting back with me. I don't have the actuator or minibox but I have been working the sand with just the blade down no teeth. It fluffs the sand then I go over again with the blade and rake. I guess I have loosened the top layer and moved some high spots into the low spot. It is looking better, Just keep working it. Love my arena rascal!! Thanks Again, Cathie

@ABIAttachments My question exactly and a great response. Absolutely correct. The rascal is in itself a floating blade or sorts
