The wires run in the chassis for protection! It's an absolutely wonderful plan, never trash the wiring loom! REmember, most vehicles aren't designed to last more than 10 years, a td5 is already a minimum of 16 years old. the chassis were made to a price and LR pushed that price down every year and still expected better products. I think you can see where that ends up, your chassis, rotted and holed. It als odoesn't help that no one cleans them as "Land Rovers are supposed to be dirty!" is the normal response... Well that's what you get with not cleaning it. 😞 Looking at that chassis, I'm really glad I didn't go with a Maer chassis. I think it'll be a real dirt trap and it's got a lot of things that just don't have the strength of the original or the UK makers. Also what are the "bulkhead brakets? There is no additional items to go on the bulkhead to fit the chassis, or is this another Maer cheapness?
Totally get your first paragraph and 100% agree 👍 no one looks after them as they should. Seems like you have an agenda against maer tho, every bulk head has brackets, they support the bulk head to the chassis no matter what company it’s from. Thanks for the comment 👍
