Definitely some issue in Evoque holding it back. the evoque literally lost all torque once it shifted to 4th gear ( around 100-120 kmph) in all rounds. A well fully functioning Evoque will literally race to 100kmph in 8.5 seconds ( D200 engine) and there is no letdown of torque after that either. It can do 200 very easily so quite the shocker to see it not able to fly past the Creta Turbo.

I am a Creta owner. Just by looking at the description, it was staggering to even think of Creta competing with RR. Both are from different classification. This ain't a proper competition at all. Like comparing a 2 Bhk house with Villa/ Mansion covering 7000 sqft.
Even if its a range rover, dont ignore the fact that its a starting range in the Land Rover stable, and its not v difficult to beat this evoque in a relatively new car.

@@Itsaviraltv. By the looks of it this looks like the 2019-20 model. Which is still very new, My preowned Countryman which is a 2014 model which is almost 10 years old has not lost its charm. So a there shouldn't be any reason for a 2-3 year old car to "lose power". There could be some issue with this particular car in my opinion.
My uncle owns creta and he bought it at end 2021 . I frequently drive that car let's say once in a week and I know the power output of creta there's no way that creta can beat RR definitely there is some technical issues with that white RR and I am telling this through my personal experience !🙏
Range rover price is 75 lakh and creta 20 lakh obviously range rover safety is better than creta but see the difference in drag race creta is best car in its price

Light weight vehicle always has a winning chance in small race. evoque may not be tuned well. RR known for luxury,strong build quality, all weather all off roading. So RR has price worth. creata is simply a tin ka dabba after small accident.

You can't say 75 lacs for just engine only the features and the brand value plus all the comforts that RANGE ROVER provides that take a lot of money and its 177 bhp not 201bhp plus 500kg extra huge fan of creata but hundai can't beat RR that's a true

Its NOT "Land Rover" Its "RANGE Rover". There is a subtle but important difference. Range Rover is a more luxurious focused brand whereas Land Rover is a brand focused on the rough and adventurous. So its Range Rover Evoque. And Range rover tends to be a lot more expensive than its "equivalent" Land Rover.
Bro i am happy for u that ur creta won but he has not paid 75 lakh only for speed. Rover has much more things like comfort, off roading, different driving modes etc.

I drove Range Rover Sports, Velar , Discovery and Defender too and it was thrilling experience for me. Its known for its amazing comfort and Modern luxury features. I am damn sure there must be something wrong with the Evoque that guy brought for drag race 😅

What people (Especially Indians) don't understand is that Land Rover is one of the most unreliable car brands so I am not surprised with the results. There's probably some technical fault but then again, faulty Rover is to blame🤷♂️.
LMAO what ? That is not on the basis of performance but certain quality control issues in terms of their luxurious offerings. Range Rovers are known for their performance throughout the world. Goto Darjelling and witness 50 year old Range Rovers still pulling steep climbs. This is true even in the remote areas of Britain where Range Rovers. Range Rovers can pull 110 tonnes of Road cargo let me know if Creta can do it.
