This is how I'm installing the Tesla TPMS sensors. If you already run tubeless rims then this would be a lot easier.

I really like how you are utilizing as much of the modern car as you can. It makes sense that as you modernize the driveline, you may as well modernize the rest of the car as well . Those little things really do make a difference to an old vehicle. My understanding of tubeless rims is that they are different to the tube type. That's why they have an extra rib on the inside of the bead. Also, tubeless tyres are a different width at the bead compared to tube tyres even though in most cases they will both go on either rim type. My point being that l'm wondering whether you might be better off with tubeless rims especially if you're running them at low pressure in the bush. Just a thought. Btw. Compliments of the season and thanks for a great video series.

Thanks Bill. The Michelins that the Army fitted are actually tubeless tyres. They are an Imperial size 7.50. I have been running them tubeless for a fair few years now without a single issue (even at 12psi on Fraser Island) so I have a fair bit of confidence in them.
