The nicest, most trustworthy, fabulous family business that I for one, am so pleased to be able to give my business too. If by some strange circumstance, there’s something they don’t know about defenders, then I wager it doesn’t belong near a defender.
Great guys, sound advice, known them for a number of years, enjoyed the journey with them, from a rotting pick up to a new chassis, a V8 and other bits and bobs, they also look after my wife's series and have completed some major modifications on that also. Thank you Paul and Stuart, like other comments, what they don't know about defenders is not worth knowing.
Great content, engaging and I've subscribed. As a Series 2a owner I'd love to hear more about the distinction between series 1, 2, 3, then 90 and 110 before the name Defender was invented in 1989 when Discovery was launched. So pre 1989 there's no such thing as a Defender, but I still find your channel great. Best of luck with the work!
Regarding the side-steps, I have the same style and they've gone slightly tatty within 3 years. I am planning to take them off and sort them out this Summer, but if it comes time to replace I will be considering an alternative. I do like the steps that you can build into the sill itself. Anyway, I advise you to consider an alternative as well, rather than replacing like-for-like. But if you are really set on them I suppose you could buy the replacement and ask Foley to beef-up the paint job on it before they are fitted.
Hi Tim, wanted to get in contact with you about the Monaco F1 race. I'll be going this year and had a few questions after seeing your vlog from there. Is there an email or something I can reach you at?
No mate. Anything inside the M25 is London, Foley is just outside of Harlow, which is in Essex. That like calling 50 mins away from Biirmingham till in Birmingham. It’ll be in a totally different place. @@TimFosterLDN
