Your a life saver thanks so much! Ever since I got my new Land Rover I’m about half tempted to get rid of it. It’s supposed to be a luxurious vehicle but every little thing keeps going wrong with it. I have a 2009 with low miles and in good shape very new condition, also has been serviced every 5,000 miles and you would expect nothing to go wrong with this thing. Nope! I got this brand new ten years ago so I’m the original owner and not only did the leather not hold up well, but stupid stuff goes wrong constantly! This was the most current issue we’ve had.
I am the second owner on mine. Little things started going wrong around 100k miles. The leather needs to be cleaned and conditioned regularly. I do mine every time I wash. It's a great truck but the maintenance is a killer.
Would there be any lights on the dash or not necessarily? My alarm is going off every morning at 9am and I’m assuming the cheapest option first the hood latch sensor. -08 lr3
Hi, thank you for the clip. It is helpful for me. I had hood open sensor error for LR3 as well from S.Korea. It is sooooo annoying. Hahahaha. T30 TOX Driver, I need, and What is the part number; below locking system? please let me know.
Can you remove the bonnet sensor entirely? My alarm keeps going off randomly and the dashboard says the left rear door is open when its shut., therefore, I'm unable to lock the vehicle properly without it sounding the alarm.
Was there any warning signs on your dash saying that the front passenger door was open my alarm keeps going off randomly but when I’m driving away I noticed that there’s a sign saying my passenger door is open I’ll open and close it and it still says it’s open
So did it fix the problem for good.....getting ready to install the same part, because the damn horn goes off whenever it feels like it ,usually in the middle of the night.
How did you address the replacement part being slightly different from the original resulting in the release cable being too long to release the latch?
