I think your introductory comment is even more robust than the old Series Land Rovers themselves?, Great introduction great film many thanks ,,I have owned a 1963 Long wheel base for over 30 years, really well made vehicles.
So expecting to produce 12,500 units in five years just so the the Rover Co. could get back on its feet in post war Britain. 75 years later.... Pretty big success story there and still my only choice of 4x4 for twenty years!
Hmmmm I can add comments, owned Four.( AKA, i Qualify to do so.) So, the list. hot dip galv- chassis comes to mind. Seals- the world needs them. Synchromesh should actually- Be a thing Thrust bearings should provide- mmmmmm? Axels, well you know....... Drain holes, well you know............... Gearbox gates are supposed to be .. included.🤷♂🤷♂ Horse is expected- normally😁😁
Toyota were very clever. Beat the Land Rover price with the new Land Cruiser on the project. Changed out all the vehicles for new every year, send the old ones back to Japanese for analysis. Very clever. Look at today’s market share.
