You’re too much lol the encouragement you give while cursing me out is hysterical. My mechanic wants to charge me $427 to change one solenoid. He said he need 1.5 hrs for labor. My dad said they can do it in 30 mins. I guess when you don’t know what you’re doing it takes long?
Mechanics never charge for their time, mechanics charge for their knowledge. If a mechanic charges $427 for one solenoid tell him to change all for the same price because he will do all the work for that particular solenoid anyways

Jet Flako , Saludos, Those number that you mentioned on the video will be different, there is generation ONE and generation TWO transmission. 2005 LR3 y 2005 Range Rover Sport, most likely will be gen ONE. from 2006-2008 will be gen 2. Flaco tengo un problema me sale un código problema en la caja de cambio cuando pasa a Cualto salta feo y se queda en una sola velocidad .. me dicen q es la transmisión otro me dicen q cambien la caja esa que tienes en ese video y otro q le cambie el aceite que me recomienda?
Yo te recomiendo que le cambies los solenoids, filtro de aceite de la transmisión, y nuevo aceite de transmisión. En otra que arregle el solenoid 2 se quedaba pegado y asia lo mismo que la tu lla. Ase 7 mésese la cambie y anda como sinada uviera pasado.
Hey flako. My 2006 Range Rover sometimes shifts ok as long I don’t push the gas it slowly switch gears but if I push the gas after the 3rd gear it hits hard and seems like stays there coz the rpm goes at 3000 even if I’m 30-40 miles/hour. You think that will be the selenoide? Or the transmission? Help me. Gracias.

Baltimore Bred If you don’t experience the pull really hard what I recommend is to change the solenoids. Mine was doing the same as yours and I change the solenoids problem solved. They always said is the transmission to pull the cash from you. Use your truck for another month to see what happens. Than do this change the solenoids, Transmission filter, and fluid you be good after that $500 for all and you will have fun doing the job.
Saludos, tengo una Range Rover 2008 HSE, solo aplicaba para adelante en 3era y retroseso, le cambié los selenoides tal cual explicas en tu vídeo, le coloqué aceite Dexron VI (6) no lo pude llenar completo porque no tengo la bomba, no desconecte la batería. Los selenoides los compré en PartsGeek alrededor de $300 los 7. La encendí y ahora solo aplica adelante 4ta velocidad h retroceso si la aceleró agarra la velocidad. No la he rodado luego del cambio. Que me recomiendas hacer luego de leer todo esto? Saludos y gracias por la ayuda.
Tienes que desconectar la batery por 30 minutos y tienes que llenar bien asta arriba de fluido sino no teba tirar los cambios como deven de ir. Que estado vives?

Hello Flaco my 2004 Range Rover goes into limp mode and I continue to drive it the transmisión fluid overheating warning light comes on eventually. I replaced the radiator and transmission cooler and the problem is still there after driving the truck for 20 minutes it goes to safe mode and eventually the transmission fluid temperature overheating comes up . Do you think this would work better n my issue ? Please help
Hi Maria Mejia hope you doing good. And about your question I will say no this would no solve your problem. You problem is more sample. The only thing you need to replace is the Transmission Valve Body Harness with Temperature Sensor and that will solve your problem. @@flako4u77 I’m so sad to inform you that the wire harness with temperature sensor did not solve the issue , do you think doing the replacement of the neutral switch might be the issue ? I am running out out options here don’t know what else it can be . Thank you so much for your time and help
@@mariamejia7445 did you reset the computer or disconnected the battery? Try to disconnect the battery and leave the vehicle for 30 minutes with the ignition switch open that will reset the computer module and the computer will recognize the new harness.
Hey bro, when i start my 2003 and put it into reverse sometimes it doesnt take (feels like neurtral) then after a few minutes i put it back into reverse and it works. Would this be a solenoifd issue or is it a bigger problem with the transmission? Thanks for your help bro.
John Zimmerman you can do the job on three hours. Make sure you vehicle is cold when you start doing the job so you don’t burn yourself with the fluid or the muffler. And remember to put the vehicle on the lift mode before you lift the SUV that will turn your air bags off. When you add the fluid back you need a small pump and the vehicle has to be on all the time. You can do it just go for it and enjoy believe on yourself my friend.

luis solis Range Rover 2006 2.7 Disel lleban de 9-13 cuando sacas todo el fluido. Pero si nomas cambias el panel con el filtro te bas a gastar entre 5-6. A tu mano derecha arrivita del panel de la trasmission hay un tornillo tienes que quitarlo lla que lo aigas quitado conecta la pompa para pompiar el fluido del galon a la trasmission. Lla que salga fluido por el hollo de donde estas pompiando prende la troca pa que sircule el fluido en la transmission y lo buelves a llenar asta que salga fluido por el hollito donde estas pompiando y listo ese es tu nivel. Pones el tornillo para atras y lista. No la pongas en velosidad es mejor que te quede poquito bajo a que lo llenes demasiad. Espero que te aiga servido o que me entiendas.

luis solis llenalo por primera bes prende la troca dale unos 5 minudos y empiesa a llenarlo denuebo cuando se llene lla esta listo. Si puedes llenarlo sin levantarla aslo asi pero si la tienes que lebantar pa que quepas avajo y mas comodo no se te olvide poner la suspension en levantado o apagar la suspension de aire. Yo no la lebante por que tenia rines grandes.

luis solis si fuera para otro tipo de carro te recomendaria otra marca pero Rover es bien delicadas en todo aspecto. En mi opinion usaria zf para seguridad de tu transmission campeon. Abeses es bueno lo barato pero en esta ocasion no seria recomendable.

@@redouanesorour9796 ok now we on the same page. You have to to put them exactly as the color indicated each solenoid have their own function. You can’t put a black on yellow spot it will work but you vehicle will do not work properly. Sorry for the misunderstanding!!!!!

John Booth than yes it your solenoids the are bad already and don’t transmit the signal to the computer. Replace all and when you remove the brane check for any cracks or damage.
Will A its no A or C those go by numbers and I don’t recommend to change only one. Its a lot of work to change one and later on you will have to do all the process to change the other ones. If you gonna fix buy all together in one time fix. The C would be the #3 from your right hand side.

CEO of 3rd World America Corporation That it’s exactly what it happened to this one. Was running good for about 15 or 20 minutes than the transmission started pull it up or down shifting really bad. I replaced the transmission solenoids and so far so good. Make sure you add the right fluid and change the filter.
