When the cars were moving piece of art. Luxurious yachts that sailed on the concrete channels. Glorious V8 that purred under the hood. I imagine blasting my favourite songs with the top down on a sunny day on an empty road. Shame they make only boring cars filled tons of gadgets most people wont even use.
My sentiment exactly. You can fill a Mercedes or Rolls with the moon and people can only remember a little bit further than the basic radio instructions. Just so much changes and we get inundated with so much stuff that we just don't know. If it's not in our path and we can pick it up, it literally doesn't exist.
Are these type of american barges reliable? I live in italy, and i would like to get a summer car like this cadillac, or a daily driver buick park avenue with the simple 3.8 173hp engine.
Nice video. Own a 66 since 10 years, spend a fair price here in Germany for it, think I paid half of this additional to have it today as I have it. And yes, it has torque, plenty of it, and as you mention, it feels like a small car on acceleration. Love it like on the first daym
Sad story time. My Grandpa had one, a vinyl top I think, and he doesn't take the best care of his cars, and the paint is all sanded off, there is moss and mold in the floor, it stinks, and the engine in stuck up because he doesn't put oil in his cars, he just let's them sit in his yard. He gave it to me, and then sold it to one of his friends for $300 to restore it, and said I would be the first to be able to buy it once it is restored, which it is literally already my car. Also, his friends are just like him in that he says he'll do something and never does it. So I'll most likely never see it again. It was a beauty too. Oh well, can't have everything, even though I would take that car over literally anything else ever made.
@@ExecutiveAutomotiveSociety yup, I loved when I'd drive mine daily! Also had a lot of looks and people talking to me. And I was 22 at the time and Would daily anything as long as it was cool!.. but I had my hubcaps fly off more than once when hitting a dip in the road on the high way or on a back road.
