I am transitioning from a long career in healthcare, talent, stacker, and certified. Healthcare is my current job, clinical work, which is burning me out. How do I pitch this to potential employers for my salesforce role? Most companies are looking for 2 to 3 years experience at a minimum.

I would recommend heading over to archive.talentstacker.com/healthcare for healthcare transition related resources. (Weird url right now as we are migrating the site) 2-3 years experience on job descriptions is a frustrating myth of applying. They put 2-3 years but will hire someone completely new. Please use the link above and also listen to episodes 1-8 of the Salesforce For Everyone podcast and you're going to be much better prepared from the perspective of understanding the nuances, just like that nuance of employers putting requirements on job listings that aren't actually requirements. You can absolutely do this. Just take a look at a few of the transition stories at talentstacker.com/wins and you'll see soooo many others have done this before you as total beginners.

Thank you. I am applying despite the requirements... I will check out those resources. Working with a mentor which helps 😊 thinking I am missing the mark at marketing my skills and industry knowledge.

I have been applying for salesforce developer jobs, it’s very hard to get any response from recruiters. I wanted to know if there is anything I am missing in applying . I would appreciate any suggestions.

Yes there are a lot of strategies that are beyond apply apply apply. I would highly recommend episode 7 of the Salesforce For Everyone podcast.
