@@geik2 Bonjour. Si je ne me trompe pas, il est équipé d'une boîte automatique? Moi j'en ai eu un VX de 2005 en boîte manuelle. C'était une première main avec un carnet d'entretien complet Toyota. Mais parfois ,ca ne fait pas tout !😠😠😠 Il y avait pas mal de boulons rouillés, notamment quand j'ai voulu démonter les plaques sous moteur par exemple. Il avait 272.000 km . Je n'aurais pas du le vendre. J'ai retrouvé un Kdj 95 de 1ere main également avec seulement 93.000 km .il est comme neuf. Il n'a jamais escaladé une taupinière .Mais bon,ce n'est pas un six cylindres. Bonne journée
100% corrosion free. I took this restoration since the factory surface treatment is far too poor. The frame had no corrosion whatsoever prior to restoration. Toyota should also have used strontium chromated epoxy primer and two component topcoat in its production, but then the price of the cars would have been twice as high. For me, this restoration was more like a "midlife update" before the car was put back into storage :) I don't use the car. At the same time, I replaced wear parts for about US $35,000. I think it's nice to own a 100 series Landcruiser that's in good original condition. I'll never be able to get back on the money spent and thats fine for me. You have to spend the money on a few more things than storing it in the bank.
I have also treated the frame and body with anticorrosion oil 336 anticorrosion. This is a penetrating oil from crc with outstanding anti-corrosion properties. Capillary forces allow it to penetrate into places that are difficult to access.
Other frames that I have restored I have sent for sandblasting, full acid bath and electroplating before surface treatment with primer, topcoat and tectyl
