Landing a Blimp on an Aircraft Carrier! | WW2 

The story of the K-Class Blimps is a little known chapter of aviation history. Equipped with radar, sonobuoys and depth charges they provided exceptional protection for Allied convoys. These blimp trials were important to extend the range and capability of the K-Class Blimp for escort duty and submarine patrol.
Any good story deserves a little more attention. We have some great footing of a Goodyear K-Class Blimp landing on the deck of an Aircraft Carrier during World War Two.
