Landing At Newcastle 

Absolutley, its a blessing to return to somewhere nice and cold.

Iam flying from newcastle on the 4th of june,with thomas cook,to sunny rhodes!just watching a few of these vids to get me in the mood,its been about 5 year scince ive flown last.

In fact it was quite the opposite! I'm not one for hot weather, so was really looking forward to some cold north east england weather lol and they announced that I was like "whattt!!!" haha

GRRRRR I know, I'm gonna find out what their job is and applaud them every time they do it.

I believe so, its by far one of the busier routes from Newcastle and they do use the 757's on them, however there are TOM 737's at Newcastle, and Palma isnt the longest of the routes they fly meaning sometimes they could from time to time stick a 737 on the Palma if they ever need a 757 for the lengthier sectors.

nowt better than flying into newcastle after your holiday

24 degrees out side must have had a heatwave or a hell of a one off its never that hot lol

Well is should! If you get two pieces of metal or plastic. One is flexible and one is strong and britle. You then try to snap them which one snaps first? The wings are under so much stress at times during flight they simply have to be able to flex to handle it.

when i flew to portugal, i looked out of the window and seen the wing flexing, i have to say that it didn't fill me with confidence

lol, I think I will do it, its quite insulting to the pilots IMO when people applaud them, cos its as if the people who do clap don't trust the pilots to get them down safely (something which they do day in day out)
