I freaking LOVE these videos!!! Skating has always had such a DIY ethos and that's great but a coach that actually knows how to teach can just give someone a game changing breakthrough in one session and it's awesome to watch.
I’m telling you from experience and finally getting good tres moving both your feet at the exact same time does wonders for this trick just got em switch yesterday
I don't know shit about skateboard but youtube send me this guy and I'm so impressed to his teaching skills. Make simple and stupid that even a 6 yrs old can understand.
@@RustyRants think he’s trying to get you to describe that phenomenon, so difference is when you land regular you often end up simply landing as is and rolling off where as a revert is as soon as you land you add and extra 180 degree pivot so you ride off in the opposite direction of what you would have normally landed.
You're either not getting high enough to comfortably allow the board proper rotation or you've just got mega stompers for feet. You can experiment by moving your flipping foot around (further up, down, inward, outward, slanted, straight, etc) as you get set or simply slowing down your flick just a touch. Alternatively, if its already doing a double, just try to catch it sooner.
That’s was so fire, first tre flip rotation landing and she lands tre revert what a story for the future when she’s looking back on her progression, awesome stuff
Yeah I only skated for a few years from like 98 to 05 but I would've loved a teacher like this back then, i literally remember spending WEEKS trying to understand 360 flips@@okayegg4597
@@scottwalker9216 Some times it helps to have someone watching you make the mistakes you are making. You know the term practice makes perfect isn't correct? Perfect practice makes perfect. If you commit to learning and learn things wrong they are so baked into your abilities its hard to overcome them. Very common in combat sports too, someone who has a mediocre level of ability and that's holding them back because of the incorrect things they learned.
Depends if you exclusively do hard tricks all day. If you just cruise or slowly build up your skills, it's not really going to happen. Falling however, yea.
Yea. Now I could make a crude remark about how you gave her your secret sauce I mean you did say it and she is very pretty and she can even skate but all attempts at levity aside its very benevolent of you teaching people skate trick mechanics and technique that you most surely bled and about half died learning. Dude. You rule. Keep up the good work.
I wish I had these skate tips when I was skating back in the year 2000. I could never properly land a 360 flip. I always use my front foot to flip the board. It always look really cool but I can never get a proper landing.
