Lining in rented flat, the wiring is shorting and regulator of fans are all getting spoilt. We use it minimum. The landlord is asking us to pay.

If any natural calamity occurs in a rented flat like fire, earthquake etc and due to which the flat gets damaged. Can the tenant be held responsible and forced to bear the repairing cost?

No, if the damage happens due to natural calamity then tenant is not liable to bear the repairment expenses

Hi… we did not enter into a written rent agreement … the house was not given in the painted state… so the owner agreed through Wats app msg that he will not deduct painting charges at the time of vacating… we stayed for 1 year and six months … he s deducting painting charges now … also we were thrown out on 13th may despite he took the advantage of deducting rent till may 15th without letting us stay in the premises… can you please guide us with a remedy… now we have vacated the flat

Very nice video. My problem is-- I am tenant. I get to know my landlord is scammer and eat my security deposit He already breach his oral commitment for keeping households He is discrminating between tenants He has not told me notice period and maintain sweet relation before agreement signed and new tenant arrival. He made agreement after 4 month I by mistake sign it without reading on good faith. But later his behaviour change. He had never provided rent receipt. And watching sweet behaviour I too forgot. And also never show electric bill and take cash for same. Paid rent too in cash. But this time by trick I told him that we had electric bill up-to-date and only June month rent due. Her husband look after everything and said ok on whatsapp. But lady has blue tick but wont given me reply. Only 3 month left in 11 month agreement. He put a notice period of 3 months. All of sudden I get true financial hardship. And he had security deposit equivaltent to remaing period left. He has given untidy flat but we don't choice to leave that time as big shiftinng cost involved. I want to vacate his property by 2 month earlier of 11 months and dont want to him rent as he will eat my security deposit. I don't mind he eat now all security money if I don't pay him rent. Otherwise he deduct heavy amount of his untidy flat. Color is maintained but some defect shown him earlier. And few wall fix with his oral permission. But now he refusing from his some commitments orally. I don't mind case on me but I am not ready to pay him free extra money above my security deposit. So how to deal. Can you guide a bit. 😊🙏 I have video recordings of flat which clearly show an untidy floor.

if tenants is from another country and landlords is from another country and agreement is signed between these two but tenants is not allowed to enter the country of landlord. now questions arises can landlord force tenants for rent of the agreement. which country law applies in this case

Can landlord get the whole house painted and deduct money from the security deposit sir? There were only double sided tapes stuck on the wall, other than that we did mo damage. He also replaced all the pipes and plumbing issues which were there even when we were there and charged us for that. Can he do that? Please respond sir

Sir I had taken 2room set far away from my home.My child is taking therapy there.We had given 1 month rent in advance.Now my child is far better and need not further therapy.Intimation of vacation of room is given 1month prior,but landlord asking for two months rent ie Feb and March.Can we adjust our 1 month advance rent in Feb,no rent agreement done only verbal commitment.Rent always given in cash.Pls reply sir

Sir, I have vacant the house and come back to my home town ahmedabad from mumbai. I hv given 40k as diposit and landlord has said that I'll send you the final amount after calculation all the dues. but Land lord is not responding now and not giving back the deposit. Me and my friend was living in a rent room for the last two months. The period of two months ended yesterday. My room mate is moving to another place due to job issues. We inform that 15 days prior to our leave. But I decided to stay there with my another friend. Yesterday I came to know that my new friend is also having an issue to join with us. So having no choice i called the room owner yesterday and said thatI will vacate, but need two days time to find another room( willing to pay for those two days). But he refused to stay any further. Is it legal to refuse my request?

Hi i need advice, i was renting a place in delhi but the property was very bad, within months it develpoed leakage n was very difficult to live in, i tried to reach out several times to the landlord and he never got back to me , i ultimately left the house as it was a hopeless place , now he got my number from somewhere n is demanding i pay rent for all these years , when i have moved in there he never replied now he wants money

Plz help we rented a shop for cafe and we decide to set up a roll counter one side of the cafe entrance but our landlord create a problem he demand extra charge for entrance other wise he claim that we can't use entrance for counter or cooking purpose.... Agar Tenent ek Society or non Government organizations hai.aur landlord Dwara turant khali krne ko kha h Lekin ye possible nahi h Kyonki isse Jaan maal ka nuksaan ho sakta hai aur tenets continues Rent de raha h tb tenets Act ke anusaar kya karna hoga ?

Sir, me as a landlord has gone for JDA with builder. Now the flat is almost ready for handover as informed by my builder. As I was the landlord, now do I need to pay any Registration fees or Stamp duty? Or any other fees?

Yes in the case of transfer of property stamp duty, registration charges have to be paid to the authorities.

Hamra landlord hamang security fee is reason say wapas nahing kr raha ha... Ke hum na os ko ek month advance ma nahing bola ha ke ek month kay bat hum room chod raha ha.. ham ni os ko 22 April ko bola tha ki hum within the end of April room chod raha ha... Pr vo bilkul bi hamara security fee wapas nahing kr raha ha... Tao hamang ka kr na hoga

Sir mei as a tenant Chandigarh mei reh Raha tha due to family problems merko hometown wapis aana padha mene one month rent and 1.5 month security jama Kari thi landlord k paas .. mene 12th dec ko unko bta diya tha ki mei room chhod raha hu urgent basis pe... Unhone merko 19th dec ko 8500 diye hai jo ki meri security 15,000 thi . Kya mei unko legal notice n FIR kar sakta hu ki merko mera poora refund do ? Jabki mera electricity bill sirf 10 units aaya hai and koi damage bhi ni kiya hai mene property mei unki . Unhone mere saath rental agreement bhi sign ni kiya hai koi fir bhi unhone 6500 rupees cut karke diye hai muje .. help me plz

Saab phaltu hai agar ache lawyer se jaan pehchan na ho joki 90% aam admi hongae, Anjaan lawyer toh pehlae 50,60 hazar mangta hai aur phi uske upar haar mahina case list karne ke naam se kam se kam 1000 lega , aur 1,2 saal toh asehi chalega har mahine list hote hote, yani lawyer bangaya dusra landlord aur rent chalu, bichme bhola client ko chusne ke liyae naya bahana banata rahega, bada vidambana mei par jata hai kyuki 40,50 hazar toh daediya already aur 1,2,3 hazar ke liye case drop kase kare(case latae samay lawyer 500-100 har mahine lagaega bolega#jhut). MORAL: 1)case karo agar ache lawyer se jaan pehchan ho 2) case kae 2,3 saal ka kharch aur abhi abhi case se pehlae ka kharch tol ke dekho, matlab agar abhi 50 hazar ka nuksan hai aur 3 ,4 saal case se 3 lakh ka nuksan hai toh chota nuksan uthalo aur court se dur raho.... 3) criminal case ke liye toh sarkar lawyer bhi deta hai, civil case toh apne apne pasae se hi ladna parta hai 4) lawyers ko bhi parivar palna hai , isliye woh kabhi pura kharch ka jankari kabhi nahi dega theek, kyuki kharch ka pura jankari milne se aur court ke hakikat jaan kar woh case nahi karega zyatatar.
