They need to start charging tenants thar do damage over a certain amount with a felony and this ish would stop. And the only to remove the felony is to pay the damages. That will get some act right.
@@mickeymichelle you’re absolutely right it is a reflection of their character. And my last two have the characters of they care about the money.. but not the tenants. My current landlord has MULTIPLE properties. So they have the money. I alone try and keep the two that are right next door to one another in shape by ways of garbage removal and cleaning up as well as starting and maintaining a garden. To make this slum more homey.. It’s stressful. No repairs and ups the rent! I’ve had the state come and still nothing. And I unfortunately as I write this I have no way to leave..

It's just silly, I would not bother with people period, I would sell it out right I want my money all at once and not monthly. Who wants that headache not I.
As a part of the lease agreement, I would do 72 hr notified checks on my property. The tenant can be present but it's getting checked. Ask questions about what is or isn't working during the check as well. If the tenant disagrees with the process, don't rent it to them.
That’s a really cute house! My son & I lived in a place like that for years when I was down on my luck. The landlord was kind to me & even brought us a pizza every once in awhile. So sad when people disrespect a home like this!!! 😢

If you do not chk once a year or twice be prepared. Take them to court and they will have a judgment and have to pay or moving forward make them take our renters ins. So when they leave its covered.
“That’s all a man needs” growing up my dad would say this about certain houses and I could hear him saying it about this one. Such a shame the tenant treated this nice house like that. He doesn’t deserve this home!
Absolutely horrible, people are so disgusting and disrespectful. My momma worked as a leasing agent and realtor for a while. She always told me to take pictures before and after moving into a place and moving out. Also to keep it nice, one of the houses I rented was mostly carpet. No shoes were allowed on the carpet, when I moved out I spent weeks making everything was spotless. Every little nic or anything on the walls like any tac holes I repaired. I repaired some of the stuff that was there when I moved in, I got my full deposit back. I’m sorry so you had to deal with all that, I’m so glad there was insurance to help.
That’s so sad! I rented a place that looked like this for my son and I before I bought my first house. We kept that place so clean and our landlady would bring us eggs from her chickens 😅 I was so grateful because I didn’t have good credit at the time (I do now!) and she took a chance on us. People like this ruin it for everyone. I hope your next tenants are wonderful.
It's bad the way people handle places but this is not nearly as bad as what I've seen. My tenants will be pissed because I will be doing random inspections with 24-hour notices to see how the property is handled.
Girl you are lucky I had 1 destroyed my house because he couldn't pay the rent ,I gave him 6 months lease and he couldn't make to 3 but got mad before he had to move just trash your nice.I will never rent my house to anyone for any resson.
The rental agreements need to include if the renters cause damage to a rental property, they have to pay to have the damages fixed. Always take pictures of your property that you plan to rent out before people move in and do checks from time to time and take pics of your findings to compare.
I feel you. People make it bad for others. People like me who keep the places that I rent clean do not get a chance but bums like them get the chance. SMH. 😮 They could've at least cleaned your place up to show their gratitude for you renting to them!

Nope, he was a productive law abiding citizen when I first met him. Had a great career etc. He allowed his environment to change his character. He got hooked on drugs
It is really sad. Attendance like that mess it up for people that have no other choice but to rent because they can't buy when they're single. I used to work with section 8 and public housing and conventional property. And that is why people have problems renting.
I don't think your insurance will pay for that. You should pay for inspections twice so u'll see how the house is looking. Waiting till the end............ I'll put them on the do not rent list. Or have section 8 come out they chk as well as you should
It seems like it’s either horrible landlords that do not take pride or responsibility for their property; or a disgusting tenant from hell! I wish all the awful landlords would get the tenants from hell 😅

Then to top it off I allowed him to stay rent free for 4 months because he was having hardship. Then after that he refused to leave so I had to file eviction which took another 2 months to remove him legally!!
So true but at the time same, why purposely destroy? If I were her, I'd sell the house to a family and get a real job. The stories I've heard of bad renters makes me think it isn't worth it lol. A real job is less stressful. 😂

Looks like a fairly tidy act of spite. Were hard feelings made before he moved out? Most Landlord-Tennent acts require new paint and a carpet cleaning before the next tennet. And there is a level or wear and tear that is to be expected. However I do feel for.the lady. When you're a neat and tidy person, you forget that people under a time crunch can be slobby and don't care. Figure they are not getting their deposits back so let the landlord accually earn it. This is what? Two trash bags worth at best. A window shade replacement, maybe one broken window. Otherwise, no holes punched in walls and no doors ripped of hinges. No nasty graffiti in high gloss on intact walls. Looks like this lady was fairly lucky. The appliances could use and up date. The cost of which she can use as a tax deduction over the next three years. Maybe she should only rent to relitives in the future.
I have lived in my house for sixteen years and mu house looks nothing like this ,nor would i leave it looking like yhay for my landlord. That man did that in ONE YEAR???!!! Wtf was he doing ?
That's the exact reason I had to stop being a property manager. I had a tenant destroy a condo to the point it was a literal biohazard. They saved trash, dog shit, cat litter and from the looks of it even took other ppls trash and just dumped everything all over the place. They even carried kitchen trash upstairs and dumped it out. That's the kinda stuff that makes you lose your freedom cuz I was about to go to her job and shut it down when I seen what they did.

Carpet can b fixed an cleaned unless they are vertical blinds you can expect them to be ruined not really a big deal I would fix it not claim it on my insurance. I see Neighbors on my block that got their heat shut off and let whoever rents to them all their pipes break and they're still living in their 8 years later never paid rent.

Yes he’s a a hole why would you do this, I rented a home for 7-8 years from a lady who did nothing to the place period just wanted to collect rent when I left I just left. Paid rent every month when I was truly tired of her I found another place and moved, I never understood why people do this.
Some people dont have respect for other peoples property. Thats like rental cars, people get in them and run them down, and say it's not mine let them deal with it. It comes with the territory.
