Landmark S.F. restaurant Tadich Grill celebrates 175 years in business 

Classic Bay Area restaurant. Hope it goes on for another 175 years.

Very Professional Wait Staff One of my favorite places.

Born and raised in San Francisco. My grandfather first took me to Tadich Grill in the 60's. I never have forgotten the experience and great food and service. I took my 2 grown kids (both born in the city) back there for dinner in 2015. Nothing had changed, same great food and service. I had the sand dabs with french fries and that great SF style sourdough french bread. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!! 👍

The ambience there is just magical. The staffs were wonderful and courteous. I truly had enjoyed myself over a crab cocktail and a Bay shrimp salad. Hope one day I'll return there to dine again soon.

The first time i was there was 6 years ago.. and i can't wait to go back.The ambiance is old San Francisco..the service is excellent as well as the foods Congratulations on this many years of service. Can't wait to go back againmost definitely !!!!

good food good service fair prices restaurants like that tend to operate for a long time. the only way they're gone is if the building is demolished or if they're leasing and the landlord boots them out or something.

A true landmark. Fine food. Fine service. Great ambience. Perfect "old San Francisco," yet still current.

All the gossip about racism went away?

The place is dead most of the week as the service is absolutely terrible. I had a party of 4 waiting for me a few years ago for lunch and I was delayed by the bay bridge traffic. I arrived at 2:35PM (5 minutes after lunch was over) and they refused to serve me even though my 4 family members had already ordered and were eating. I sat there with no food or beverage the entire time. I swore I would never step foot in there and my family has never dined there again.

Good service makes up for the nasty food.

If we elect Mayor London breed again they’ll close in 3months! Vote Republican!
