Something I'd like for immersion reasons is if the Mare Jivari has no music, just dead silence. It would set the uneasiness of the region. Maybe mobs are the only sound emitted in the area.
I like how they used hot air balloons but also baobabs and acacias from Africa. It’s a true blend of Africa and South American and Mesoamerica. It’s a weird blend that make Natlan have its own distinct culture like Sumeru.
It's a beautiful blend. Especially since that's kinda what happened to the cultural influences when African slaves were brought to the Americas. You'd be surprised how much African influences there are in mesoamerica especially during golden age of pirates and the nation these pirates made. From African influences came their food and stories and cultures which too mingled into native locals' own. Really fascinating. 🧐🤔
what i like about genshin that the locations of the nations is quite accurate to the real world like if sumeru's dessert is inspired by egypt and natlan is inspired by africa the location make a lot sense
imagine if they took some inspiration like how fromsoft did with their games and add things like cave of the crystals, carved city in stones like petra, or just rip borobudur temple and angkor wat and did the bed of chaos by surrounding it in lava
@@Huta0z that's what I hope for but I doubt it, cause when he talked about the sovereigns on Neuvillete's post, he referred to the sovereigns as "they"
Since Natlan is officially based on a combination of the continent of America, Africa and Australia and has up to 6 different biomes I would love for there to be a jungle area similar to the Amazon filled with Aztec temples similar to Temple Run and within this jungle there to be a place containing a swamp and marshy areas with mangroves on Forest leaked area.
There's an area in Sumeru's Gavireh Lajavaru, in the far west, called "The Gate of Zulqanain", an area opens up at the most western point of the map, to the south of the sea in the area. It has a seemingly dead end road and a fire-related puzzle. You can also see in the distance from there that the sea the Sumadra Coast connects to and curves down at least as far south as this point but no further. If I were a betting man, this is our path to Natlan. It gives me similar vibes to the North exit gate of Stormterror's lair that feels like it would lead to another region, as well as the actual gate between regions under the west side of the Chasm's crater walls and the nearby tunnel that leads to the cliff you jump off to head to Fontaine.
A city carved into a mountain would be so cool, and the mesa verde cliff dwellings in southern Colorado could serve as inspiration for it. I’m super excited for natlan.
Ancient Civilizations from from a place inspired my mesoamerica reminds me of El Dorado, however that is the Spanish colonial version which combined various legends from the indigenous Muisca tribe of Colombia rather than one location as the stories tell. I hope we get something interesting for an ancient lore world quest series that is not based off the colonial point of view. Exploring ruins would be so cool.
So basically Natlan isn't just primarely a Lava-land like every final world in the Super Mario Bros games? I've never been as hyped over the release of Natlan untill the year arrived in which it will be released.
Man I'm getting so excited for Nathan, especially cause it'll drop during my summer vacation, so I can dive straight in. Thank you for the great content as always Silicon!
There's also the Valley of Dahri in Upper Setekh that leads to south of Hypostyle Desert, there's a path past the Khaenri'an mech that's abruptly cut off by OoB. This might either lead to the Red Sands or the Mines if the canyon terrain would be any indication.
SiliconOneFour, your videos are noticeably improving lately, at least I think so. Presentation, pacing, good all around! (this isnt to say they were bad before, but i think i do see your efforts paying off with improvement and felt you should have a high five for it)
Natlan has Floating Islands OMFG finally more floating structures! This game has a real issue sticking to Land generation always!! Have you noticed the only Floating place we got so far is Fountaine Cubes and nothing else...So when will they reveal that the Land over Monstadt cuz it feels like the direction they expand is always far away
I lived in Arizona which is a massive volcanic area, and one of the things Id love to see are massive magma tubes, some of the ones I've seen are large enough to fly a plane through and go on for hundreds of miles. That and massive hardend pyroclastic/lava flows like Chocolate falls near Flagstaff. It would be neat to see massive Pumas boulders that got chucked out from precious eruptions, some get as large as a house and end up tens of miles away. The natives from the area learned to live with the and would move around when "the grounds awoke"
As a little history nerd upon pre Colombian culture and overall world history I feel what they based this off of will let the history nerd in me have fun
@@JinteiModding It's something brand new. Which is disappointing for me as I wanted to return to GAA. I won't say what it is, but I've seen the leaks. It's not like either previous maps
@@lugchug8304 I'm not excited. I really miss GAA. There was just a vibe they haven't been able to recreate. And the music is some of my favourite. I'm SO sad we didn't at least get some of the tracks for our teapot because I recreated the GAA in mine. *Sighs*
I wonder since there are supposed to be 6 tribes then what is going to make main city of natlan so important? Especialy since they are all in war with eachother
What you call the main city might not be the main city. It is just where Nanatzcayan live. As natlan is divided in 6 tribes, I don't think there will be a main city but 6 different village
that would be very funny, there will be one player with a massive stash of LW who is going to freak out... at least crimson users will get a boost if we have to farm.
@@gallagher6903 next special program will be on July 5 ,(they skip one week) so on 15 (Monday) they will announce Natlan drip marketing and this special trailer (they always do the same so it's easy to predict)
I think they ruined Natlan for me, it looks happy go lucky, but most importantly Mare Jivari. From what i understood its big and endless with black sand and border with the Sumeru desert, but that aint possible with the mines being there. I dunno what they were thinking. What will they come up with next? The dandelion sea being a domain?
It's definitely possible! I'm guessing the other areas will relate to the tribes that are there, so we could get windswept fields, colder places, and of course the volcano!
