Landmarks and SFTP are two bands where, I can 100% understand why some people don't like Knocked Loose's heavy vocals. Cause I just can't get into any of their stuff. There's just no appeal here. Like, I feel as if I'm listening to a noise metal band trying to cover a Skrillex song and I don't like Sonny Moore that much either. I can see the appeal, with the instrumentation and the flow of the vocals, it's just not for me 🤷 That said, Knocked Loose was my EP of 2021 and tons of people hated it (again, 100% because of the vocals). I will stress again: I'd love to hear a reaction to A Wilhelm Scream 'Be One To No One'. Catchy, fast, melodic, with metal sensibilities. I think you'd dig it 🙂

As an aside, part of this song feels cut and pasted from Lost in a Wave, and maybe that's why I don't get the hype. I Will Find You by Whitechapel has a few brutal and still super fast portions that I felt were a bit more original.

I've haven't seen either movie, so where does that leave me, haha.
