Hope these two keep their friendship going even if Carlos is going to Ferrari. Really helped us keep going in a difficult year and agree Lando despite his funny guy attitude, has great pronunciation and is trying.
I’m fairly impressed he can roll his r’s, that’s what makes the difference I think. I know his mum is Belgian (from Flanders) and he can speak just a tiny bit, and Flemish also has a rolling r and the same vowel sounds as Spanish so maybe that’s where he got it from idk.
Lando actually has a great accent! It still sounds foreign but he does a great job rolling the double rr’s and stuff! Way better than the standard english speaking spanish fellas haha

Carlos was (is) Lando's big brother, making him feel good and taking good care of him. I'm sure being a rookie in F1 was much easier for Lando having Carlos by his side.
I worked with a Spanish guy in my office once and I was 22 and he was around 30, he was like a big bro to me and we had moments just like this, watching these videos reminds me so much of my time working with him, him and Carlos are so similar in personality haha. He'd always look out for me and try to pass on wisdom to me when we talked like carlos seems to try to do with lando haha. Miss you Salvador man!!! Working with fun people like that make such a difference to your life as it's who you spend most time with
Todo el mundo pensaba q con Ricciardo iba a ser igual pero es como dejar a tu novia por otra y darte cuenta que no es lo mismo😂 Everyone thought that with Ricciardo it would be the same, but it's like leaving your girlfriend for another and realizing that it is not the same😂
It's so cool to see that the relationship they have is like a big brother and little brother. It's like they grew together so they know the limits of fun and work. meanwhile Lando and Ricciardo don't want to be this way because they are both very serious in being the top dog at Mclaren.
Recomendation for english speakers who want to learn spanish, focus just on one country, we have many words that in Argentina means one thing, and in Colombia means one other completly different, here´s an example. Chaqueta: in most countries means "jacket" but in Mexico I think, it also means "masturbation" so, carefull
If ferrari wants mick in 2023. Daniel contract is 2 years +1 (heard somewhere), if seb retire maybe Daniel can go to amf1 in 2023 and carlos can go home to mclaren ( this is maybe just in me daydreaming tho)
