They can’t just tell every other customer “sorry guys you have to wait a few more months for your car” anyone custom designing their car is likely near the same status and wealth as this guy so he waits like everyone else

Really dig the four stripes instead of the logo, that's a great idea. Something that's uniquely his, without being in your face. 675 and 765LT are my favourite cars of all time, and this is a beautiful spec.

@@awildmal6944 ever heard of an opinion? Porsche is a good company, but I prefer the looks of the 765lt to any of their cars, and the 765lt isn't even the nicest mclaren. Also, basing how good a car is solely on its performance is a bit shallow, don't you think?
Dark blue and fluorescent yellow is just a lovely combination. Valentino Rossi being the most prominent figure to have used it extensively on all his racing machinery. Well done!
Stunning. Those subtle 4 yellow stripes are really nice, the UK flag on the doorwells is a nice touch. As much as you joked about it, was really nice you had the guys autograpg the car for you too. Very nice.
Damn. Lando undoubtedly deserves this for all the loyalty he's give McLaren over the years. Really loved the detail with the black union jack. Also 3:06 good to know the horn works! 😅
@DavidJones-nh6go I didn't say they are. I simply stated F1 is a playground for nepo babies, like Norris... By the time drivers make it to F1, half of the grid are the 'fastest of the rich'...rather than 'fastest of the fast'...

Thousands of kids all over the world compete in kart racing just to get to the F1 but they simply are never good enough. Crazy to call something as competitive as F1 a "playground".

Reminds me when I was 12 and my parents bought their “poor man’s Ferrari” (as it was called) a Toyota MR2… same dark blue (metallic finish), with felt seats and leather interior. I felt like a million bucks riding around in that thing! And it was a sports edition floor model as well, which made it feel one of a kind. Ahhh, good memories! Thanks for triggering them bro! I've always wondered if being an F1 driver ruins the experience of "normal" cars. Like once you've driven the most extreme example of an automobile I imagine not much compares to it.
Lol I agree with you, bad choice of words... It's not a custom build 1 of 1, it's a standard 765lt with personal specs just like anyone that bought a 765lt could spec their car
I’ve really enjoyed watching how much Lando has grown since he was the cute kid just coming out of karting to getting signed on with McLaren. He’s still a kid in my eyes, but he’s grown up quite a bit. Well done on the car spec, mate. I personally prefer the understated look as well, I don’t really like being all “in your face” with things. Keeps it timeless, in my eyes.

In my opinion… It’s got another 10 to 15 years before they can even come close to anything from Europe. Interior still reminds me of a JetSki… It’s slightly appalling for the price tag in my opinion.
I think the very forced "this has to appeal to Gen Z" music choice didn't do Lando or McLaren justice. He's young but he's to classy for this kind of presentation-setup I think. And McLaren is also quite a classy brand as well. (though I don't know this for sure obviously, Lando might think it's just perfect and fitting for him)
