Pain in the balls of a job. I do them the same way as you.. Getting them T30 screws back in are a nightmare if you're having a bad day. Keep the videos coming some great content
Hi mate I’m doing one but changing the whole cooler as one unit, what an absolute joke I’ve spent the whole day on it! Managed to fit it with a new egr . Got a new dpf to fit once I get the coolant hose on the bottom back on! I would have rather just changed the part you’ve done as I’ve done them before. But the whole lot absolute nightmare! Wish me luck 2mro hopefully get it all buttoned up! Love watching your TikTok’s helped me out a few times. I’ll prob post this job on there!
Is it possible to drill a hole in the exhaust flow pipe to the EGR gently insert a small air compressor line up to the filter screen and blow the soot blockage away then plug the hole made with a jubilee clip and silicone ?
Hello Baz mate, I’ve just rebuilt an engine in a discovery sport I bought that hydro locked. Runs lovely but only issue is losing coolant and pretty sure it’s going down the exhaust as no signs of visible leaks. Do you think that could be the egr cooler causing this? Many thanks

Yes, check the EGR cooler, I've just changed one on an X3 with M57 diesel, was leaking water into the intake, became so bad it hydrolocked while trying to turn over to start, luckily no apparent damage done, so they DO go and they can cause major issues.
