Kelsay Shaw, owner of Possibility Place Nursery will talk about how to choose the correct native plants for your yard and how native landscaping can improve the health and vitality of your yard.
Would you mind sharing a few planting details? My favorite are by planting acorn in ground Not a temporary pot, or planting bare root whip. Imagine growing a baby octopus in a small fish bowl until age 4 Just as it's tentacles reach out about 4 ft In every direction similar to spokes on a wheel. And While This octopus Can freely stretch out once out of the cramped fish bowl. Entire root system of juvenile trees grown in cramped plastic or fabric containers Never get a chance to radially stretch out Their Woody roots unless manually pulled into position By helping human while permanently transplanting. or by pruning bent root back to Just before pot wall had deflected it.
I’ve never heard of a orthodox native plant lover until listening to this. I hope you don’t actually answer people like that who call you for advice. Great way to scare people away from making positive changes.
