Lane 8 - Little By Little 

My son is only 7 months old, I can't wait for the day I will listen to this with him, I already know he will love this. He will understand.

So I've been to a lot of different shows/festivals, ranging across all genres of music; a lot of really, really good live artists. Ty Segall, Radiohead, Bassnectar, Incubus (surprisingly), some others come to mind, but if I had to pick the best show I've even been to, it MIGHT be lane 8. Now granted I was candy flipped into the most perfect serenity, but said perfect serenity was only realized by the grooves this guy got me into. It was indescribably amazing. Put me in the literal trance I anticipated entering having heard his most recent album prior to attending the show. That being said I highly recommend for any individual to attend one of his shows if you ever get a chance. Life changing grooves.

Maybe I'm different, I don't know, but I love melodies the most out of any musical device. You can have good lyrics, a vibe, great mixing, drops, harmonies, etc, but a beautiful melody is what makes my soul glow. This is one of them. It's a personal thing, of course, but this one does it for me. I may never understand how music such as this is made. I only hope to appreciate it as fully as possible.

Setting in my room listens to some playlist in the background. The next track was “Lane 8 - Little By Little”. I love this track but for some reason, I stop to do what I was doing, turned up the volume on my speakers (luckily, I was home alone), and decide that I need to just listen to this track. I close my eyes and try to listen to every sound that appears. Suddenly I start to smile but at the same time, tears appear in my eyes, no reason, to logic. I know that I sound strange and maybe funny, but I decided to share the respect and appreciation that I have to the track and to the track creator, Lane 8 Thank you, it was a pleasure

I first heard this in San Diego and I was overwhelmed with emotions. Can't even explain how it makes me feel every time I listen to this but it definitely draws me to the present, the moment right now. Anyway, it is a joy to listen to. More of this please :)

This is the most beautiful sounding riff ever, I have been stuck re-listening this album and specially this song. I love how pure analog this sound.
