Lanehead and Wellhope area in Weardale including a couple of old abandoned farms. I think that's most of Weardale covered though there's probably a few places missed. This is the last of the videos I made in Weardale a few years ago, a beautiful day spoiled by one of those blokes desperate to be offended about something making crazy accusations - you can see him near the end of the video.

Hi john , I’ve been retired year now . I love watching your videos, there’s the beautiful landscapes that we all love but you don’t hide the industrial heritage,that to be fair I think we’re both proud of too. My RU-vid account is linked to my old gmail account which I don’t ever check , but I’ve seen your previous replies to my video comments, albeit 6 months later ( usually when I’ve forgotten my passwords ) Stay safe and keep posting our fantastic region warts and all it’s who we are . Cheers Dave, always great to hear from folks who watch these videos. This footage was taken a few years ago. I don’t fly the drone much anymore, the laws are so restrictive now, I expect they’ll want them tethered like a kite before long!
