​​​​@@richardvolpe7664 I do think that Lang Lang's passion as well as his dynamic range and pedalling makes a great impact on this Mozart piece. I definitely agree that Lang Lang is an amazing pianist, and this piece might be easy for him but the extra details he adds and dynamics can be quite hard for many pianists. It also is very hard to achieve such a difficult level of performance for many pianists, such as myself. So I admire his skill for the instrument 😃 P.S. He obviously put the work effort into the piece and he probably repeated until each execution of the notes were perfect. So that is why it is incredible and so effortless for him. Well done Lang Lang 😊

Passion? In this cheerful little piece? Lang's use of dynamic shadings (and forget the pedalling thing!) isn't the least bit unusual for any skilled pianist. The demands made by this "Easy Sonata" (as Mozart himself labeled it) are about as minimal as can be, so don't be so impressed by this performance, the "excellence" of which could be easily attained by any well-taught pianist.

While most people are talking about Lang Lang you are talking about the piano lol

Tommaso Bego They are not ‘the best pianos in the world’; they are very fine but not ‘the best’ which is probably an impossible thing to judge. Many pianists would probably name some of the famous German makes or the Italian Fazioli pianos in preference. It’s a personal choice.
