Totally agreed with you Langkawi is the best island in Asia. It led Phuket & Bali & Phu Quoc by a long distance . The local especially the merchants are extremely friendly . We were there in December 2018 only for 1 day as part of the Royal Caribean Cruise from Singapore . Will definitely be back for longer stay
in Malaysia you can go to almost any beach and just relax or to any tourist attractions without anyone chasing you trying to sell you something....one of the reason to go Langkawi is the duty free shops where beers are so cheap.
Wow! Thank you, Grant. Really appreciate your kind feedback. Malaysia is amazing and I am sure you'll have a great time! Thanks again and enjoy the tropical tan 😊
You guys know that opinion differs right? It doesn’t have to be on any list for it to be a valueable to a person. Songs on billboard charts are sure enough enjoyed by many people but saying unknown song isnt as good is just kind of wrong. Some people enjoy different things because they have a meaning for them or offer what they look for.
We went to Tama Negara, Penang and Lankawi. Langkawi is really beautiful. But the people, in our opinion, are VERY reserved. We are allways open and friendly but from the staff in restaurants or hotels, to us Europeans, we got at the most a little smile. Even after ten days in the same (expensive) hotel, a we got a very reserved "goodmorning" or a little informal conversation. That's the only reason we want go back to this beautiful island.
Thank you for your feedback. Generally the locals are very reserved and respectful. It's by no means a lack of friendliness. Malays are generally very kind and respectful.
Sorry for the bad exprience.. maybe because you stay at the expensive hotel and they respected you so much hence not much conversation. I assure you that if you minggle with the locals they will open up to you in no time.. hope you come again and enjoyed your stay.
yes Langkawi best in every way from beautiful beach to the 4D animation museum, Langkawi NIGHTMARKET the best delicious and cheap foods, westerner fast foods,,easy find,,,centre ISLAND they have beautiful fresh water lake,,dayang bunting lake,,explorer langkawi river mangrove,,cable car,,the best ones love the Duty Free shopping ,cheap branded ciggarate,,
Enjoy your stay at the island and makesure u explore more place in malaysia..and try many variety of malaysian food..malay chinese and indian..mamak . Take care frieñd.
Langkawi is a great island. Beautiful nature, lots of wildlife, in March, smells great colors. Friendly people, not much traffic, plus you can perecheslyat long.
hye..u did a great job..nice video..langkawi is a one stop visit..many thing we can do in the one place..that made lgkawi amazing..nature,geopark,food,local people culture & etc...
You should visit Sumatra, the motherland of Malay. Btw, i love south Africa because of Demi Leigh Niel Pieter, Tamaryn Green, Zozibini Tunzi and of course my favourite comedian and host Trevor Noah.
Cool video I wouldn't say that Langkawi is the best island in Asia but it is right up there along with Palawan, Boracay, Koh Phi Phi, Bali and Lombok. Probably the best island in Malaysia overall although Penang, Redang, Perhentian and Tioman comes close
Malaysia adalah negara yang selamat dan aman. Bersih nyaman. Tidak ada gangguan preman, pungli, scammer, tidak ada parkir liar. Harga makan dan minum bagi pariwisata luar negeri tidak di letak mahal.
@@maruwaanmosesdont worry bro it is just 'family matters' haha...welcome to Malaysia bro..your ancesrtorial land..i think ur anacestor must be somebody those days..
Thanks Viral! I appreciate your feedback. Langkawi is VERY cheap. It's best to check bookings.com for accomodation. Skycab pricing is in the video. The Geoforest Park was MYR300 for a private boat.
Slm Ali. The general consensus is that it's best advised to travel to Malaysia between March and October. Having said that, anytime is a good time so see this amazing place. Jumua Mubarak and shukran for watching 😊
@@maruwaanmoses Wcs Bro I am planning to go November I don't know what the weather is like November & I am worried that if raining time and give me some advise pls I have ten days I need to see langkawi and KL which place should i see first jzk Bro & jumca mubarak
I think it's best maybe to do some research on the weather forecast around November and see. As for which to do first, I'll almost all the time say Langkawi! 😁
@@maruwaanmoses My suggestion is base on what we has going through on every years since I live somewhere around Langkawi... FYI now the raining season's just went to start rn, also you can't fully rely on weather forecast when you're in here.. It's really unpredictable in Malaysia indeed... Btw nothing wrong with your general info technically... Cheers...
Scuba diving in and around Langkawi is terrible. Apart from that it's OK but just know what to expect before committing too much time there. A week is more than enough.
Good video.. in my opinion thailand n Philippine hve more beautiful island than langkawi, but for Muslims like me, i choose Langkawi first, mind relief, i can enjoy my vacation without worrying about halal food, second is Philippine bcz most of the local people can speak in english n very friendly, last thailand bcz their ladies & men's are very beautiful 😁😁
Slm brother. Tq for your feedback. Thailand has incredibly beautiful Islands, and so does the Philippines too. I would hope to visit El Nido and Boracay soon. Have a great day. Jumua Mubarak 😊
Langkawi becoming too 'modern' for me nowadays. Not like when I was living/working there back in the mid to late 90s. Chenang are was a bunch of chalets and bars along the beach nice to hang out, have a drink and watch the sunset.
I would've loved to have seen what the Island was back then. However like all things in life, things change. Having said that, the island is still great and definitely worth visiting! Thanks for watching 😊
@@maruwaanmoses yeah. Not saying it should not modernize. Maybe just being sentimental. 😁 After I left in 2002, I only went back there few times and the last was 2 years ago.
Maruwaan Moses or i call your name Marwan Musa. Can? Anyway; i wish you have good time in Malaysia. One thing i want to share with you; do you know JAWI? JAWI is one of Malay writting influenced by Arabic Script. So; in Malay custom in this region; we use to write in Arabic Script and Roman Alphabate for one word. Before; i believe before the Arab or Islam being introduced here; in NUSANTARA ARCHIPALAGO; we have Sanskrit Writting (Hindusm influence) but no longer. Roman Alphabate being introduced when the western countries colonised this area long time ago.🇲🇾👌✍️🙏 I hope you know JAWI Writting...
If you stay in Langkawi town you will need bike or rent car to get to main beach area. This can be very nice beach, except for tourists who eat lunch on beach n leave rubbish behind.😩🙁👎
Thanks for watching Ian. The beaches were relatively clean in my experience. Though I suppose the same could be said for any beach. Tourists need to be respectful.
@@maruwaanmoses sama sama..yes.. come again and visit my ceramic craft shop in langkawi craft Complex. :) And try nasi lemak, laksa and cucur udang local malay foods.
I stayed at Adya Hotel on the beach front in Pantai Cenang. There's loads of other options each offering broad variety of accommodation needs. Perhaps check bookings.com if you'd like some more insight.
Having been to Langkawi about 50 times - I thought your title was a joke. In fairness it was better than I thought it would be. The water is never 'crystal clear', it's not dirty but it aint crystal. When I stay there more than a couple of days I know I've had enough and can't wait to get back to Thailand.
Im agree with you wacky...beauty or not , best or better its depend on the eye of beholder, experience they had, and how was the day they going thru...exactly it not same for everyone
Hello! I was in Indonesia last year. You can see my videos on Bali and Gili Island on the channel. I will be back to Indonesia again soon 😁 Thanks for watching!
