Ethereal ending to a beautiful song. Nakasabay ko siya sa BGC bus before. She obviously was trying to blend in with common people. Naglalakad din yan in disguise sa lawton. She's a very humble person. Her voice is strong and delicate at the same time. It pinches right through. I've been watching her since the 90's along with another legend, Regine. ❤❤❤
This was the very same voice I fell in love with 19 years ago when I first saw her on television. Her dynamics, range, voice control are beyond my imagination. But the best thing about Lani is her ability to send the message to the audience. You can feel her vulnerability, strength, loneliness, joy, anger, embedded in every note she utters. Belting is common in the Philippines, but Lani's style of singing is incomparable for me
She is still the same Lani Misalucha that I admired in 1997. The kind hearted, down to earth and the great performer she is. She is truly the one and only Asias Nightingale. Thank so much for always shearing your beautiful voice and the music.
I don't think I can still count all the times I've watched her live renditions of _Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin._ So beautiful, a perfect performance: her vocal acrobatics and techniques, and the emotion and storytelling are all present... If I were to introduce Lani Misalucha to someone who has never heard of her singing, it will be a live performance of this song. Thanks, Ms. Lani, for sharing with us your beautiful talent.

Iba nga ang timbre ng boses mo, may class or sophistication, yun bang hindi mo ikahihiya na ipagmalaki. Honestly, I felt na naglevel-up din ang panlasa ko interms of music. Sana ikaw na pinakinggan ko at sinuportahan noon pa, anyway hindi pa huli ang lahat. :-)
And another thing, hindi din dapat kino-compare si Lani kay Regine!!! First of all, Regine started in the industry early! That's basically the reason mas maraming syang album na narelease at mas malawak ang exposure nya sa ASIA. The thing is, Lani and Regine are both exceptional filipino artists! yun yun!!! hindi sila pwede ipag-compare. First, sa Nuances pa lang, magkaibang magkaiba na! magkaiba ang atake. Second, sa vocal technique, magkaibang magkaiba din and it is very obvious. And lastly, magkaiba sila ng emotion sa bawat kantang inaawit nila. Kaya dapat hindi na sila pinagkukumpara pa! You guys should be happy instead because we have great singers like them!!!
Exactly.. kakatawa kasi mga ibang fans ni Ms. Regine kung maka pang maliit kay Ms. Lani wagas.. panlaban nila lagi na mas maraming albums.. mas maraming fans si regine kaya mas magaling daw.. when Lani entered the industry she's already married and with 2 kids na.. sa showbiz para maibenta ka kagaya ni Regine patok ang movies, with love teams etc.. pano gagawin kay Lani yun na married na nga siya at 26 years old na siya nung pumasok sa industry. I like Regine but... I LOVE LANI MISALUCHA!! I never bashed Regine just to uplift Lani, pero yung mga fans ni Regine grabe maka bash kay Lani

Pero Regine kasi has the looks na pwedeng gawing leading lady..Yung magkakacrush ang kalalakihan..Maputi pa siya..With the colonial mentality still alive and well among Filipinos, talagang mas magiging mabenta so Regine..Also, the Filipino masses prefer extremely high belting to soul singing..Saka youthful ang sound ng boses ni Regine compared sa kay Lani..Do she can remain relatable even ngayong panahon..Kahit pa kung tutuusin mas maganda ang voice quality ni Lani..Mas may charisma pa si Regine..Parang Sarah G. and Jonalyn Viray lang yan..Arguably, they are equally talented (mas bilib nga ako kay Jonalyn)..Pero yung hatak nila sa tao is malaki masyado ang gap..Regine is charming and charismatic..Pero Lani is very regal..Her presence screams DIVA! Her voice has changed. It has improved way way better. If you listen to her videos uploaded seven years back and compared them with her recent performances, you'll surely love her more.

Pet peeve talaga sa akin yung super ganda ganda ng performance. Ang solemn solemn. Tas biglang may titili. I mean I know fans are but save it at the end of the song or at least sa prelude or kapag pa fade out na yung sustain voice ng singer.
This song belongs to La Nightingale! Of course Joey Albert is uncomparabe since she is the original…But this song really showcase Lani’s Vocal dynamics, power and emotion…ibirit man ng ibirit to ng mga young singers they can never come close to Ms.Lani’s version….
