Lmao apcs as a group have only been meta for like 6 months in the last 5 years, theres only like 3 ap carries who are actually decent bot. Its nothing like whats going on in mid today

@@of5606definitely not true, Karthus, Seraphine, Ziggs, and Swain APC have been prevalent and strong for at least a year+. Only brand has recently been good from the new items. T1 played Karthus APC when he got challenger bot and that has been a while ago now. The ADC mid meta is only a serious issue in high elo, I play high emerald and almost never see it, and when I do they usually lose

The thing is... Usually the worst part of APCs is making lanes uninteractive, sometimes oppressive depending on the 2v2 matchup and it's always going to be ADCs and mages. Sure it sucks but the repercussions aren't that bad. When ADCs go mid, they get prio by default against everyone but other ADCs, they warp the midlane's ecosystem around them. Mages can't contest them early, assassins get absolutely dumpstered, bruisers get abused even worse... And the worst part is, they scale faster than in botlane. It's way too much to handle in a healthy way for the midlane.

@@Und3AD_00 even less people play apc bot than adc mid, lucian tristana mid are decently high pickrate but every apc's pickrate together is like 4 percent

@@Und3AD_00 yes, thank you for proving my point, around 3 apcs are actually strong bot. they aren't "prevalent", they're decidedly unpopular, and as a group they are not strong, because ad carries are better than them at that role. one guy onetricked karthus to chall, but i bet there's some insane rando playing swungle to chall in oceania right now, which doesnt mean he's strong jg
