My chanel seems to be too deep. My detent won't let the takedown pin go back in. If I force it, it breaks the detent. I mickey moused it by putting a piece of paperclip in the chanel so it wouldn’t be so deep but this is obviously not optimal. Any suggestions?
When engaged, the QUICKSAFE feature built into the Ultimate Pin Set makes it nearly impossible to fit the upper and lower receiver of an AR platform rifle together; a particularly useful feature for those who may have to store a rifle for an extended period of time. P.S. pulling out the takedown pin like that--the spring and detente literally have nowhere to go. Soooo---I have no clue what all that extra stuff was for. It's literally a captured spring system. The detente is longer than the hole is wide.
God, this is so pedantic. Why don't you just loosen the castle nut on the rear, and use the flat of a razor or screwdriver on the front? Making this wayyyy to hard, guys.
