As a youth, my dad took my brother and me to Canada to go fishing every Summer. We went to upper Ontario, and stayed at hunting/fishing lodge in Combermere. Not too far from Barry's Bay. Stevenson Lodge had both housekeeping cabins and cabins where you took all you meals in the lodge. Harry Stevenson guided us to lakes in the area. Sometimes on farm lands, where we would give the farm family some of our day's catch along with a few bucks for the privilege. We got to know Harry, his brother Ernest, Tenny Harry's wife and their two sons pretty well. It always made me so happy to hear them talk about coming down to the States for deer hunting season. I met other Canadians who would vacation in the States. The Canadian folks were always so friendly and engaging you couldn't help but be glad they were our good neighbors. Watching your channel and story about New Hampshire brought all the memories back. Thanks for a great day at the Lantern.
Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful comments! I have met some wonderful people in our travels and many more within the RU-vid creator community. Covid has created so much chaos, we yearn for the day we can again freely and safely travel through all of Canada and the USA. There's so much beauty and diversity across both Countries!

Pretty nice campground. Loved the dump station.....Most people probably drive right past it🤔 We haven't done the east coasts. It's on our list. Travel safe
Going on July 19th to 25th my girlfriends family has been going for over 20 years I can't wait this is my second year her dad is friends with John the owner it's always fun there
