Don’t dismiss what this climactic event you describe is built up on. You can only appreciate what you have now because the past events made it so. Never play favourites in life. Everything is holy and everything is sacred. Either that or everything is unholy and unsacred but that’s not a nice way to live.

I’ve only been playing for a few months so this is my first lantern rite and WOW. I legitimately teared up watching this scene and seeing everyone together. I imagine your first lantern rite is always special and this one def had an impact on me. I just love how it’s a celebration of the game that we all love. Happy Lantern Rite! 🐉
Gamings Story is way more developed than the some of the Characters plus the lantern rite this year is much better pretty wholesome i like how the other Characters look too
I hate that i cried over that story. Gaming should have been a 5 star if nilou gets to be one This event + his gameplay just makes him on of the best characters already for me

I'm happy that Gaming made up with his dad T^T... and for anyone interested, you can have a Xiao lantern with Xiao. He's just near the teleport waypoint below that teleport waypoint (yeah, not a mistake) of Mt Tianheng. Not sure if there's a designated time he appears but at this time, he is there. My heart goes to that guy.
It was great, especially because of gaming’s dance, the beat was amazing…but I’m quite disappointed cause a lot of characters are missing even the liyue characters like xingqui, xiangling, ninguang, beidou e.t.c… this is a festive event which comes only once in a year, they should include all of them together
I totally agree with you. like I love the lantern rite theme! But it also doesn’t feel right leaving like half of the characters out:( I thought it would be like Ningguang having a party at the Jade Chamber or smt but instead they forgot about my dear Ningguangg
Near center where the giant human dragon statu also you can see Charlot in the other side and shenhe ganyu is at wanmen restaurant and cloud retainer is in front of the new house where she lives if you play the key quest
I think because of Cloud Retainer, if you look at his feet when he steps on the water there's the green Anemo Aura around it. Also, he was talking to her beforehand, so that's the most likely reason.
I don't feel it like the 2 other lantern rite with really hyper music. the lantern rite this year feels a bit sad. like how last year xmas season is also feels meh coz of the economic situation.
do you get that the lanter rite before this and even the one before was during covid?....... ofc they where more sad and melancholy with the world situation.
